The seasoned publicist tragically succumbed to injuries sustained in an accident involving musicians KK Fosu and Bless.

The solemn ceremony saw multitudes paying their final respects, with no dry eyes as family members took turns to bid farewell to the 33-year-old.

Among the mourners were notable figures such as Keche, Rocky Dawuni, and talent manager Pep Junia, who all came to honor the late blogger.

Following the funeral rites, John Claude was transported to his hometown in the Volta Region for a private burial.

Until his untimely demise, he served as a publicist for top musicians including Morgan Heritage, Rocky Dawuni, and Stephanie Benson.

The 17-year-old was staying with her uncle in London when she met a Ghanaian man who was seven years her senior.

Despite warnings from her cousins against dating him due to family restrictions, Stephanie said she ignored them because she was in love.

Stephanie revealed that, throughout their three years of dating, they never became intimate, though they were affectionate towards each other.

However, their relationship took an unexpected turn when her partner’s parents insisted he return to Ghana.

Stephanie said she felt devastated as she believed they would spend their lives together in the UK, but she had to allow him per the wishes of his mother.

But, just two months after his return to Ghana, Stephanie said she received shocking news that he was dating someone else.

Despite his denials, Stephanie’s suspicions were confirmed when she received a photo of him with the other woman.

Upon confrontation, Stephanie said he denied the speculations, further professing love to her.

Faced with the painful truth, the songstress said she made the difficult decision to end all communication with her partner.

She recounted experiencing a range of emotions, from anger to sadness, but ultimately chose to move on with her life.

A year later, love came knocking on Stephanie’s door once again and it was none other than her current husband, John, with whom she has spent the last thirty years of her life with.

The musician disclosed this in a discussion with her fans on how to handle a cheating partner and the reason to never give second chances.

Stepphanie advised her female fans to value themselves enough to walk out of toxic relationships.

According to him, this is impacting the quality of productions in the entertainment industry and making it difficult to achieve excellence.

He made these comments in a yet-to-be-aired interview with Amelly Djosu on Joy Prime’s Celeb Biz.

“Our work attitude in Ghana is terrible, and that’s why we are not able to achieve that kind of level of excellence”, he said. He described the work attitude of Ghanaians as “terrible.”

Mr. Soboh indicated that the bad working attitudes have heaped extra burden on him as he has to micromanage every aspect of any production he leads.

He said that without an eagle-eye on the production crew, especially the local artisans, one’s production may flop.

The Executive Director of EMY Africa added that it is disappointing when some people appear to be urgently in need of a job but become unresponsive and negligent once they get it.

The event planner explained how he always has to be present to make sure work is done well.

He was concerned about the fact that some people may not have the strength he has to be able to control and supervise their businesses like he does.

The EMY Africa Awards is one of the most successful and excellent schemes in Ghana. Mr. Soboh said this did not come easily, as he was made to be involved in the nitty-gritty of the production.

“It’s terrible, and if you are just one person, you can’t be everywhere, but unfortunately, you have to be everywhere in order to achieve the kind of excellence we achieve at the EMY Africa awards,” he added.

He, however, acknowledged a few of his employees who perform their duties with due diligence, as well as service providers such as production designer Tony Prince Tomety and sound engineer consultant, Francis Kwakye.

According to her, many men prioritise their sexual desires over the health of their partners who have been diagnosed with breast cancer, thereby discouraging them from taking precautionary measures that can help save their lives.

Research shows that many men are naturally attached to and attracted to breasts. This makes it difficult for them to cope with their spouses losing the part of their body that entices them greatly. Women, also out of fear of losing their active sex life and advances from partners, tend to run away from breast cancer prevention methods, exposing them to more dangerous health complications.

Speaking to Asieduwaa Akumia on Prime Morning, Mrs Benson stated that the breast has only two functions.

Aside from its use for breastfeeding and its role as a natural aphrodisiac that helps spice things up in the bedroom, she said there is no other use.

“Breast is a sexual thing, and it’s also a part of the body used for breastfeeding children. It only has two functions. Nowadays, women with breasts can’t even breastfeed and produce milk naturally. That is why I don’t agree with women who hold onto their breasts and try all kinds of medications instead of seeing a doctor just because their husbands refuse to let them go,” she said.

According to her, instead of women suffering from breast cancer fixating all their attention on ways to sustain their relationships, they should rather pay close attention to themselves and judiciously go through the procedures prescribed by doctors to save their own lives.

The UK-based Ghanaian musician stated that, although the breast is one part of the body that helps build sexual attraction and tension between partners, there are other parts of the body that also play a vital role when it comes to intercourse.

Hence, instead of men making a fuss and turning their attention away from their partners after going through mastectomy and other forms of breast cancer treatment, they should open up to the idea of exploring other parts of their partner’s bodies to spice up their sex life and focus on building a healthy relationship.

“When it comes to pleasure, it is important to make women understand that they can be sexy without breasts. I don’t have any breasts, but I still feel very sexy, and that is why I tell women that even without breasts, they will be fine. I found different places that will excite my husband and me outside of my breast,” she explained.

Stephanie Benson further advised women to prioritize their health by visiting the hospital consistently for breast screening.

She also encouraged women to quickly seek medical attention when they notice breast cancer symptoms. This, she believes, will help women fight cancer in its early stages to prevent it from spreading to other parts of the body.

The award was presented to her at an event held on Thursday, July 20, 2023, at the United Nations Headquarters in New York.

The ceremony, which took place at the Delegates’ dining room at the United Nations, provided a platform for nominees to have insights with other like-minded individuals who were passionate about creating positive change in the world.

One of the citations reads: “This award is bestowed upon individuals who have demonstrated exceptional leadership skills and made significant contributions to building a better world, particularly in the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)”.

It added that “Your outstanding achievements in the field of humanitarian work have caught the attention of our selection committee. Your unwavering commitment to improving the lives of those in need and your dedication to achieving the SDGs have been recognised and applauded.”

In all, Stephanie Benson received four honours on the night which included an appointment as a Global Peace Ambassador representing the Institute of Public Policy and Diplomacy Research.

Additionally, she was presented with a Doctorate Degree; Doctor Honoris Causa, a prestigious title presented to people who have shown exemplary leadership to impact society. 

On her part, Stephanie Benson said, “I am honoured to be recognised by such a prestigious body for my humanitarian efforts.

She revealed that for many years, she had put herself in the shoes of people who needed help to understand life, relationships, raising a family, and a positive healthy body awareness. 

“I have been lucky enough to be able to support and fund cancer treatments for women and also the career development of young girls in the music industry over the years through the Benson Entertainment Production Institute (BEPI),” she added.

Stephanie expressed her appreciation to the Humanitarian Focus Foundation for the honour and promised to continuously touch and impact lives. 

The High Level Presidential Award powered by the Humanitarian Foundation honours the remarkable individuals driving positive change and inspiring a better world for all.

Akosua had her secondary education at the Holy Child High School in Cape Coast and began singing at an early age.

This was after being discovered by highlife artiste, the late Nana Ampadu in the 1990s. 

The forever young musician became a household name in the mid-90s for her euphonious voice and supple dance moves.

In 1992, she formed the Highlife Supergroup “NAKOREX” together with fellow Highlife artists Nat Brew and Rex Omar.

The group’s name was an acronym made up of the first letters of each member’s name, and released the song ‘Kpanlogo’.

Her first album was, ‘Frema’ which was released on January 1, 1990.

The ‘Frema’ album had songs full of inspiration like ‘Me ye Obaa’ which became an instant hit, ‘Born again’, ‘Anan tuo’, and ‘San be hwe wo mba’ among others.

After the success of her album, Nat Brew and Rex Omar, inspired her to release her subsequent and second album titled ‘Esiwa’, another instant hit.

She is known for songs like Odo bema me so, Kpanlogo, Medo Wo, Men Su Bio, I Love U, San Behwe.

After NAKOREX, she went into a long hiatus and later resurfaced as a gospel artist, she is simply unpredictable. 

Akosua has five albums to her credit, one in collaboration with NAKOREX.

She was honoured in August 2019 at an event dubbed “Celebrating Akosua Adjepong 30 @50”. This was to celebrate her for having chalked 30 years as an artiste.

Amandzeba Nat Brew officially began to date her in 1994 and they got married for eight years. 

She is now married to Prophet Daniel Asamoah-Larbi, after a divorce from Amandzeba Nat Brew of NAKOREX fame. She has six children.

She is also the older sister of UK- based Ghanaian jazz singer, Stephanie Benson.

The talented singer was honoured by the organizers of the 3Music Awards in 2020 for her immense contribution to the entertainment industry in Ghana.

She is currently a co-judge on Adom TV’s Nsromma talent show.

The 55-year-old mother-of-five announced a while back that she was undergoing a gall bladder removal process that was causing her serious discomfort.

She took her fans along every step of the way via posts on her social media pages, including the times when she lost significant weight to the actual surgery process.

Stephanie revealed she almost died in the process and expected some words of encouragement, instead, she said she found herself reading preposterous news about her surgery.

Some portals made jest of the situation while others claimed she underwent liposuction.

The headlines, coupled with the sad reaction of her husband to the news caused her to break down in tears while addressing the issue.

She admitted being angry that her pain has been reduced to a mere sensationalised bait.

Ordinarily, she said she would have ignored, but the reports have revisited her pain.

Ms Benson revealed this to Nana Romeo on the Entertainment Capital show, Saturday, February 25, 2023.

Affectionately called the Queen of Jazz, she expressed belief that these unnamed men seek to tempt her to cheat on her husband, Jonathan.

“For the first time in my life, I’ve seen many penises,” she said. “I swear on everything.”

“They want me to watch [and] fall under its charm,” she added.

She stressed that as she has always said, she is not promiscuous and “I don’t have a boyfriend. It’s always been my husband.

“So the guys, when they show me those pictures, it’s like, when I watch I’ll cheat on my husband with them.”

Stephanie stated that some of the images sent to her are frightening and range from small to huge.

“Sometimes, I faint. I rise and then watch again,” she added. “I’ve not seen this much penises ever in my life.”

“Maybe this is why I look younger [than my age],” she noted, admonishing the men to desist from sending her more of those pictures.

Romeo wondered about the means via which the said pictures are sent.

“DM [Direct Mail on social media],” she said, lifting her voice. “Instagram DM and Facebook [inbox].”

Ms Benson further revealed that these men who send her nude photos come from all over the world.

“It includes White men,” she said. “Indians [also], Italians, you name it. Every type of penis in this world.

“It includes Dubai – the UK ones are not many – American men, Ghanaians.

“You can really see the difference [from the pictures. When you see a Ghanaian’s you can see.”

She was further asked from the pictures if there is a particular country whose men are impressively endowed.

She quickly responded with: “That of Ghanaian men. When you see it, it’s as if it’s angry. It’s as if the penis is angry. The veins really pop out… It’s too much. It’s scary.”

“The Italians’ kind of look very sexy. You see the veins but not too big,” she laughed.

On June 17, 2022, Mrs Stephanie Benson marked 33 years of marriage to her English husband Jonathan.

Using her marriage as a standard, Steph said the secret behind her 33-year-old marriage is trusting her husband to give her a level of love and respect and every other thing he does in her presence or blind eye is no concern of hers.

She made reference to an incident that happened decades ago, when some models deliberately flaunted their nudity to her husband.

She revealed it was during her performance on one of the biggest stages in Birmingham NEC at London Fashion week in UK.

While she was relaxing and enjoying her husband massaging her feet, Steph said at least 40 “gorgeous sexy models” walked around naked in the presence of her husband and three other gay men.

She further indicated that she caught some models deliberately flaunting their naked bodies around her husband, Jon.

Rather than get triggered and cause a frenzy, the singer said she was not the least intimidated or threatened.

She watched on indifferently as they made their fruitless attempts.

Nonetheless, Danny Lampo’s project, “Make We Enter”, which features Kwamz has been doing wonders on the global charts.

He is one of the few artistes from Ghana who had a great year in 2020 as he was on almost all the big shows in the UK with some big stars including Grammy award-winning artistes, Anthony Hamilton and Tiana Kocher.

Taking to Instagram following the performance, he said: “My performance with Samini is one of my greatest achievements as an artiste, I’ve always loved and wished to be on the same stage with Samini from the very day I started doing music, and it has been a dream come true.”

According to her, anger can be channelled to fuel love when couples decide to get under the sheets moments after they quarrel or argue about a subject under the same roof.

Taking to Instagram to share the tip, especially with women, she said ‘anger sex’ best resolves petty fights in relationships than other approaches she can think of.

“A lot of you married women take sex off the table when you are angry at your partner. I’m not talking about when he is cheating, I’m talking about the normal crawls that happen in a relationship. Some of you get so angry that when you even go to bed all you do is coil up. I am here to tell you that when you’re angry with your partner, it is the best time to have sex. It is one of the best sex you could ever have.

“Go to where he is sitting. The sitting room, kitchen, wherever he is and shut the door. Pull his pants down and give him the best bl*w job he could ever get. Before he cums, put it right in there. That is the best way to get over anger.

The talented artiste revealed in an interview on Accra FM monitored by Adomonline.com that he never met his mother and does not have a single idea of who she was or what she looked like.

He grievously narrated that his mother died from complications of childbirth and he did not have enough bond with his father who denied responsibility of the pregnancy and childcare.

Unfortunately for him, his father died before he was an adolescent and could not have mature conversation with him.

“I have been living as an orphan since childhood. I wish I grew with parental love. I don’t even know my mother. I really want to know a little about her but don’t have a single photo of her. When I grew up, I dug into some albums and I was shown only one single picture of her. It was black and white and I only saw her cheek area not her full face because the picture was very old.”

As an only child, he indicated he was under the care of guardians who nurtured him from childhood till he completed Senior High School in St Augustine’s College.

Bullet describes his childhood as a painful one, especially as he had no experience of parental love, and no siblings to enjoy their company.

He said the saddest moment of his life as an orphan was when he was hospitalised and no relative paid him a visit.

At that time, he stated he underwent surgery at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital, and in the period when he was admitted, he was left alone to fend for himself.

“When I was hustling in the ghetto, I fell ill and I had to do surgery. Nobody visited me. The nurses kept asking me if I have no body in my family or if my relatives did not like me,” he said as he struggled to hold back tears.

He is grateful to have overcome the darkest period of his life, adding he is currently surrounded by many friends turned family.

Stephanie, who calls herself a “fighter and a big mouth” said her siblings will definitely call her when in need of someone to defend them.

According to the singer, she inherited this trait from her late mother, Nana Boahemaah II.

Ghana’s queen of jazz, on July 25, published a photo of herself and one of her sisters, Akosua Agyepong.

She disclosed that all her siblings have exceptional singing and dancing talents, but she and Akosua went public and made a name for themselves in the music industry.

“My father, Samuel Benson ADJEPONG, had four girls with Nana Boahemaah II, my mother. You may think Akos and I are the only creative ones in the family, but you would be wrong. We can all sing and dance exceptionally. The only difference is, not all of us care to be on stage.

The update comes four days after she announced she was scared, yet ready to face her surgery challenges.

In a post on Instagram, she stated that marriage is about trusting one’s decision and God to commit to one person forever.

“I have loved him for 34yrs and will continue for 34 more,” Stephanie Benson wrote alongside a love emoji.

She called her husband, Jonathan, a lucky man stating that he is the reason her luck began.

“It’s my job to put a smile on his face, and It’s his job to make me feel safe in his embrace,” the singer added.

The couple share five kids.

One of their daughters also recently made them grandparents. She welcomed a baby boy earlier in the year.

Stephanie Benson has been one to share many family moments on her social media pages.

In May, she opened up about her remarriage noting that “committing to one person, loving them, trying to make them happy, dealing with children, juggling finances, understanding each other, not giving up, is not easy.”

However, she believed that the most important thing for couple is to openly talk to each other when times are hard.

“Allowing the freedom to express your thoughts through kind words, not angry words or fist. You can never take that back,” she wrote.

In a post on Twitter, she stated that she went for the tattoo after she had all her five children.

Attached to the post, she showed off her tattoo which was drawn across her tummy.

Although the tattoos on the side of her stomach were not visible, there was a microphone on her tummy with other designs underneath it.

The singer has not been one to shy away from opening up about the changes her body has gone through.

In 2019, she revealed she had undergone some surgeries to remove her breasts after she was diagnosed with breast cancer.

The singer said after the surgery, some people questioned her choice of outfit, noting that she did not have breasts to show off. However, Stephanie Benson said she was not going to let her medical condition define her.

Subsequently, she had reconstruction surgery to get new breasts for herself.

“I do miss my breast sometimes but I don’t let it linger, as soon as I go ‘aww I really want big breast’ but then I’m rocking these small ones, it made me look young,” she told Doreen Andoh on the Cosmopolitan Mix in 2019.

According to her, she failed to sign with the revenue collection body because of how little the royalties are. The money, from GHAMRO, she said, may not even buy her a dress.

Speaking on Asempa FM, she stated that “I don’t bother and that’s a little ridiculous for me to say considering I’m an artiste, but I have no control over how things are done here, in that way.”

Stephanie Benson added that because she is not usually based in Ghana she cannot complain without facing criticisms, however, it is high time GHAMRO fixes its royalty system.

The singer noted that her sister and colleague musician, Akosua Agyapong, has been “fighting desperately” to get GHAMRO to be of good standing.

“Because Akos again very deservingly she’s had some great hits but she doesn’t even get any kind of royalties, I think it needs to be sorted out,” Stephanie Benson said.

She added that although she has registered all her songs, she did not sign up to GHAMRO because of how little the royalties are.

Stephanie Benson revealed she sold one of her songs ‘Good Feeling’ to a US company that used some parts of it in a film.

“That makes me a little bit of money. I put a song out in the UK called ‘Hanging on’ and that made me more money in a day than anything I’ve ever had.”

She said it would help artiste immensely if GHAMRO’s operations improved.

GHAMRO’s new royalty collection system

Meanwhile, in September, 2021, GHAMRO announced new measures to aid in its royalty collections.

The Chairman, Rex Omar, revealed that his outfit had signed a deal with a new digital royalty collection body, Capasso.

According to him, Capasso collects the digital royalties for artistes and right owners as part of GHAMRO’s efforts to digitalise its operations to enable creators earn their due from their works.

Speaking in an interview with JoyNews’ Mapitso Sebidi, Mr. Omar explained that this deal ensures that the digital rights licensing company provides monitoring systems to help track songs of Ghanaian right owners on digital platforms.

He stated that his outfit has even received royalties for some artistes who are yet to register with GHAMRO.

“We have some good money sitting down in dollars. Now the money comes with the name attached, so you can’t give somebody’s money to somebody. As I am talking, Sarkodie as an artiste, has not assigned his right to GHAMRO even though we are holding his money for him.”

In 2022, following this announcement, the manager of Gospel singer, Celestine Donkor made public, how much they’ve been given so far as royalties.

In a post, Kofi Donkor, who is also the singer’s husband, revealed that as of Thursday, January 20, 2022, they had been given GH₵11,000 as royalties.

According to him, this is the highest amount of money they have received from the organisation since they joined the industry.

In another interview in February 2022, Rex Omar also revealed ‘Melissa’ hitmaker Shatta Wale received over ¢30,000 as royalties in 2021. 

That, he said, is the highest amount of money GHAMRO has given out in its history.

Despite the improvement, some artistes still complain about the little to no royalties they receive.

Gospel Musician, Nobel Nketia, revealed in an interview that he has not received any royalties from the Ghana Music Rights Organisation (GHAMRO) in the 21 years he has been in the industry.

According to him, he signed with the revenue collection body early in his career; however, after they failed to give him any royalty. He did not check with them again.

Radio and TV Personality, Vanessa Gyan, also called out GHAMRO for failing to pay the royalties of her late father, Kiki Gyan, who was a member of the popular band, Osibisa.

Taking to Twitter, she noted that Osibisa’s works are played across the country, however, the family is yet to receive a penny from the music collection body.

“GHAMRO has no info for my dad in their database but they do of the other bandmates. So, nobody thought to reach out to any of his family members? A whole Kiki Gyan. Well,” Vanessa Gyan wrote.

“My son has been showing my videos with his friends, so all his friends follow me on all my social media handles,” she noted.

It’ll be recalled that on the 23rd of October 2021, popular Nollywood Actor, Yul Edochie had posted the video on his verified Instagram handle.

Chukwuemeka had disclosed in the video that he was also close to going blind as cataract had already developed in one of his eyes.

He noted that the worsening health challenge had developed into a partial stroke while calling on Nigerians to help him.

The Prophet saw the video online and was touched by the actor’s predicament.

Fufeyin then on Sunday at his church called out the actor and provided him with cash for the hospital bills while praying for him and others who were at the service with him.

Reacting to the gift, Chukwuemeka said, “I want to thank God for this wonderful gesture from the Senior Prophet of God, Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin. I am so happy. I never expected this.

“Even though I know that he helps people financially and otherwise. I never knew he was going to give me a huge amount of money like this. I want to thank members of the church. I want to thank the prophet of God.”

Police spokesman in the state, DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi, said in a statement issued on Tuesday in Abeokuta that the suspects were arrested on Monday on Papa/Itori Road.

They were arrested during a stop-and-search operation by a Federal Highway patrol team, led by Insp. Sunday Imohiosen.

He added that the team quickly separated them and questioned them individually about their mission in the area.

The police spokesman said that the three suspects gave different answers to the questions asked, which he said further aroused the suspicion of the policemen.

In the course of interrogation, the three of them confessed that it was one woman, who was later identified as Memunat that gave them N8,000 to buy a cutlass and a rope strong enough to tie a human being.

They confessed that the woman who is a nurse at Ifo, also in Ogun State, asked them to hide somewhere on the road.

The woman promised to lure her husband to the hideout where they would kidnap him and tie him with the rope and then ask for ransom.

They further told the police that the woman said that the only way she could get money from her husband, whom she accused of being very stingy in spite of the fact that he has money was to kidnap him.

The suspects were on their way to kidnap the man before they were arrested,” DSP Oyeyemi said.

He said the woman was subsequently brought to the scene and on seeing the suspects, she admitted being the brain behind the scheme.

The police spokesman added that the woman told the police that her husband had not been giving her money in a long while and that was why she decided to kidnap him to get money from him at all costs.

Oyeyemi said the Commissioner of Police in the state, Lanre Bankole, ordered the transfer of the suspects to the anti-kidnapping unit of the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department for investigation.

The research found that four in 10 couples now sleep apart most nights, and that of these, 34% claim they have better quality sex and more of it, while 38% say that sleeping apart had improved their relationship overall.

Couples listed various reasons for snoozing in separate beds, including having different sleep cycles, their partner moving around too much in bed, having different shift patterns, and – the big one – snoring.

We know that getting a good night’s sleep can help our sex lives, increasing sexual desire and pleasure, so it makes sense that if you sleep better separately, your sex life might improve as a result.

High quality sleep lowers stress and improves mood – both of which will make you more keen to get intimate with your partner.

If you struggle to sleep in the same bed as your partner, whether because of snoring or tossing and turning, it does seem like a logical solution to get your own bed.

Better sleep doesn’t just mean better sex, but also better work performance.

But a separate snooze can reduce opportunities for intimacy – 24% of those who slept separately said they had sex less frequently as a result.

Take out the nightly snuggles in the nude and it can be easy to sort of forget about sex in favour of snoozing.

As a result, a sleep divorce can necessitate scheduling sex to make sure intimacy stays strong, or just making time for skin-to-skin contact in your waking hours to replace the late-night spooning.

If your partner is restless in the night, perhaps they snore or breathe heavily, and as a result, keeps you awake or disturbs you throughout the night, it can be a good idea to sleep apart from your partner in order to catch up on some much-needed sleep.

Good quality sleep is so important for our mental health as well as our physical health, we need to give our mind and body time to properly rest and repair, and only quality sleep can provide this adequately.

Having an unbroken night’s sleep and being able to lay in bed with plenty of room at the right temperature that suits you might mean on the occasion that you get a better night’s sleep sleeping solo.

Physical contact is essential in keeping a relationship connected.

Touching each other feels good, love endorphins, and often being in bed can be the best time of the day to communicate effectively with each other.

She wrote:

It has emerged that robbers, who shot Member of Parliament (MP) for Mfantseman Constituency, Ekow Quansah, killed him after he said he was an MP.

A witness to the incident – was present in the vehicle the MP was travelling in – told Adom News that, after returning from campaigning in an area in the constituency around 11:pm, they realised the road had been blocked.

According to the witness, the driver of the vehicle, seeing that the road had been blocked, slowed down with the assumption that there had been an accident on that stretch of the road.

After slowing down, the robbers came out from nowhere and attacked the vehicle they were in.

The witness recounted that while the robbery was ongoing, the MP identified himself to the robbers after they questioned who he was.

This allegedly infuriated the robbers who blamed him for the problems the citizenry face in the country.

“When the robbers started engaging the MP, then one of the robbers said, ‘you politicians have made the country very hard to live in.  They then brought all of us down and asked us to lie prostrate so we thought they were going to shoot us. But one of them stated that they were not after our lives and questioned why the driver did not stop the car when he was asked to,” he said.

The witness remarked that the robbers shot the wrist of the driver who immediately began to scream, “I’m dying, I’m dying.”

They also shot the MP twice leading to his death.

UK-based Ghanaian international singer and performer, Stephanie Benson who has a ‘peculiar’ tattoo from afar has described and explained why she got her tatoo.

According to her, she got the chance to play Josephine Baker, the first black female stripper in a theatre and the role involved her going stark naked on stage.

“This was after I had my kids and there were some stretch marks below my belly button”, she told DJ Advicer, host of Happy 98.9 FM’s Ayekoo After Drive.

To avoid being self conscious and distracted from her role, she decided to get the tattoo to cover her stretch marks. “That is why I did it”.

The overtly sexual artiste revealed that because of her personality, some people think her tattoo is the male sexual organ.

“My tattoo is actually a microphone and not what most people think”.

The musician however indicated that she has never cared about what people thought and will always be true to herself.

Ghanaian musician, Nicholas Mensah, popularly known as K2 behind ‘Juliana’ hit song which featured Buk Bak, has been reported dead.

Reports indicate he died on Monday, August 24, 2020.

A cousin of the deceased, who identified herself as Mariam, confirming the news said K2 was found lying unconscious in his room on the day of the incident after he asked to take a nap.

“He asked for us to buy porridge for him but went to his room to sleep and because we were used to him staying in his room for long hours, we didn’t bother to wake him up.

“So around 12:pm, we went to check but he was still asleep and again at 2:pm, an aunty went back but found him lying on the floor of his room,” she narrated.

Mariam added K2 was rushed to a nearby clinic but was referred to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital where he passed around 12 midnight.

She said the family was not aware K2 was battling any health condition. The doctor’s autopsy later disclosed he died of ulcer.

Though K2 is not married, he was survived by two kids; a boy aged 11 and a girl of five years.

Meanwhile, he is set to be laid to rest on Saturday, September 19, 2020, at Breman, House No 13 Blk E Nkontwima near transformer in the Ashanti region.

The 53-year-old mother of six has given fans a glimpse of her hot looking body as she jams to old school tunes.

She proved in the video that age is just a number and she still remains the hottest woman.

She was asked to comment with photos of her children, only for her to release the adorable photos that got her fans hailing her on social media.

According to actress Danku, Miss Djansi is badmouthing her to some colleagues in the entertainment industry because she asked for her help and she couldn’t give.

Taking to her Facebook page, Miss Danku wrote:

You later came back to ask me for thousands of dollars which I didn’t give you so you went round telling people st*pid and childish lies…

I want them to know that your st*pid blabbing is all about the fact that I didn’t give you what you asked for. If anybody has warned you to be careful of Leila Djansi, believe them!

Meanwhile, Miss Danku later issued an apology: I regret posting on social media and this would not happen again. I will make efforts to resolve the differences… I would appreciate people who shared to kindly delete or take down the post since it was as a result of anger. I wish I could turn back the hands of time. I APOLOGIZE.

But, lawyers for Miss Djansi said the actress deleting the post of apology is uncalled for.

She has also been instructed to cause the retraction of the said words from all third party media outlets and blogs which have published same and also cause the said apology to have published and circulated, particularly on your Facebook wall with the same prominence as was given the defamatory words, by the close of 23^rd of July, 2020.

We act as solicitors for and on behalf of Leila Djansi and write pursuant to her instructions.

It is our Client’s instruction that on the 21^st of July, 2020, you caused to be published on your Facebook wall some defamatory words targeted at the character of our Client.

Our Client further instructs that the said words to with “I might as well make the whole community aware that you are DANGEROUS… if anybody has warned you to be careful of Leila Djansi, believe them!” were falsely and maliciously calculated to lower our Client in the estimation of rightly thinking members of society generally and to tarnish her hard earned reputation.

It is our Client’s further instruction that although you issued an apology on your Facebook wall on the 22^nd of July, 2020 which was accepted by our Client, same was deleted shortly after it was issued.

Furthermore, notwithstanding the said apology, the damage to our Client’s reputation had already been occasioned as the said defamatory words had been widely circulated by various media outlets and blogs.

Consequently, our Client demands that you cause the retraction of the said words from all third party media outlets and blogs which have published same and also cause the said apology to have published and circulated particularly on your Facebook wall with the same prominence as was given the defamatory words, by the close of 23^rd of July, 2020.

Our client further demands that the publication of the said apology on your Facebook wall should remain for no less than seven (7) days from the date of publication.

Should you fail to do so, our Client will be compelled to pursue appropriate remedies without further notice to you.
