With a powerful style translating across court surfaces, the world number one has made 12 semi-final appearances in her past 13 major tournaments – with the latest coming when she faces Jessica Pegula at the US Open on Thursday.

But here’s the kicker – Sabalenka’s tendency to combust at a critical juncture means only three of those have resulted in titles.

None of the 27-year-old Belarusian’s runs at this year’s majors have ended with the trophy.

In the Australian Open final, French Open final and Wimbledon semi-finals, an erratic level has led to devastating defeats.

Sabalenka’s last major trophy came when she beat Pegula in the New York final 12 months ago and, in a bid to get over the line again, she has brought 10-time doubles Grand Slam champion Max Mirnyi into her team.

“Everything fluctuates in life,” Mirnyi, speaking after Sabalenka’s practice at Flushing Meadows on Wednesday, told BBC Sport.

“We’re not machines, we’re not robots, right? As good as some of the professionals are in their fields, they’re still human.

“It comes down to being good, but not always perfect. A tennis match is very tough to make perfect.

“But it’s OK – she’s getting to the latter stages of Slams consistently, which makes us believe she is putting herself in the position time and time again to win it.”

When Sabalenka cannot find a way to win – particularly in the biggest moments – she admits it is because she is known to “lose control”, mentally and emotionally.

In Melbourne, it was frustration at being unable to cope with Madison Keys’ destructive power.

At Roland Garros, it was fury at hitting 70 unforced errors as Coco Gauff fought back.

At Wimbledon, it was fear at not matching Amanda Anisimova’s bravery.

“I think it’s good she is emotional. But it’s about having control over those ups and downs,” Mirnyi said.

“As she gets older she gets more experienced, she will advance more and more in that department – it’s natural when you’re younger and more emotional to have more outbursts.

“Here she has been very comfortable [emotionally] and is confidently progressing in all facets of the game.”

Blessing or curse? Sabalenka keeping sharp after extra day off

One area where Sabalenka has remained solidly composed recently is a tie-break situation.

The three-time major champion has won her past 17 tie-breaks, including two in New York to reach the last four without dropping a set.

There could be another factor – mentally and physically – which comes into play when she faces American fourth seed Pegula in Thursday’s first semi-final.

Sabalenka has not played since Sunday, after injured quarter-final opponent Marketa Vondrousova withdrew less than two hours before Tuesday’s match.

Can a walkover be a blessing and provide a recharge? Or a curse because it ruins rhythm?

“It can be tricky,” former Wimbledon champion Marion Bartoli said on Sky Sports.

“That’s why every single person in her team has to play that role of making sure the body is functioning properly and making sure her mind is there.”

In a bid to avoid any ring-rust, Sabalenka and her team have been hitting the practice courts hard.

Image caption: Sabalenka added Mirnyi to complement her long-time coach Anton Dubrov (left) and hitting partner Andrei Vasilevski (second left)

After discovering Vondrousova’s misfortune, they spent about an hour practising on Tuesday evening to simulate a match scenario.

“I just wanted to move and throw the energy I had,” said Sabalenka.

“I wanted to sweat and pretend it was an activity, or a match or something.”

Sabalenka returned to the warm-up courts on Wednesday lunchtime, going through what she would class as a ‘normal’ session on the days between matches.

An intense 45-minute practice contained a lot of movement and work in different areas of her game – defending, attacking, serve returns – but there was also time for fun.

During serving drills Sabalenka hit spots between the legs of Mirnyi and fitness trainer Jason Stacy.

“As a tennis player you’re taught to have to wait around and deal with these conditions,” said Mirnyi.

“She knows how to handle these situations, she’s been in them before and it shouldn’t be an issue.”

Anisimova has ‘belief’ as she prepares for Osaka

If Sabalenka loses to Pegula, eighth seed Amanada Anisimova will have the opportunity to set up the first all-American women’s US Open singles final since 2017.

But she faces a rejuvenated Naomi Osaka – a two-time champion – in Thursday’s second semi-final.

Anisimova was overcome by stage fright when she reached her first Grand Slam final at Wimbledon last month, losing 6-0 6-0 in only 57 minutes against Poland’s Iga Swiatek.

But the 24-year-old American avenged that chastening experience by beating Swiatek in the New York quarter-finals on Wednesday.

“It’s the farthest I’ve gone by far at the US Open and it’s extremely special,” said Anisimova, who had previously won only three of her eight matches at Flushing Meadows.

“I have that belief in myself and that confidence that I’m able to play at the top level.”

Inter edge out Barca in seven-goal second leg classic to book final spot in Munich https://www.adomonline.com/inter-edge-out-barca-in-seven-goal-second-leg-classic-to-book-final-spot-in-munich/ Tue, 06 May 2025 22:12:59 +0000 https://www.adomonline.com/?p=2532334 Davide Frattesi’s extra-time winner sent Inter through to the Champions League final, after a dramatic 4-3 victory at San Siro sealed a 7-6 aggregate success.

The Nerazzurri will contest their second showpiece in the space of three seasons following a classic tie between two of Europe’s heavyweights.

Inter broke the deadlock in the 21st minute when Denzel Dumfries sprung the offside trap and fed the returning Lautaro Martinez, who slotted into an empty net.

The Nerazzurri skipper was involved again as the hosts doubled their advantage in first-half stoppage time. He was deemed to have been fouled by Inigo Martinez following a VAR review, and Hakan Calhanoglu made no mistake from the penalty spot.

Barca came roaring back after the restart. Eric Garcia’s controlled volley halved the deficit, before a close-range Dani Olmo header – both from Gerard Martin crosses – levelled the tie on the hour mark.

Hansi Flick’s side completed the turnaround three minutes from time, and looked like they had booked their place in the final when Raphinha lashed the ball past Yann Sommer at the second attempt from close range.

However, in the 93rd minute, Inter rescued themselves and forced extra-time when Dumfries’ cross was expertly lifted into the roof of the net by Francesco Acerbi.

The hosts then edged their noses ahead in extra-time when, following strong centre-forward play by Marcus Thuram, Mehdi Taremi teed up Frattesi, who brilliantly found the bottom corner to send San Siro into ecstacy.

Barca pushed for the equaliser. Substitute Robert Lewandowski headed over and Lamine Yamal tested Sommer, but Inter held out to secure their spot in the May 31 showpiece.

US Embassy pledges to address delays in expedited student visa appointments https://www.adomonline.com/us-embassy-pledges-to-address-delays-in-expedited-student-visa-appointments/ Thu, 19 Dec 2024 11:26:14 +0000 https://www.adomonline.com/?p=2485555 The United States Embassy in Ghana has reaffirmed its commitment to resolving delays affecting Ghanaian students seeking expedited student visa appointments.

Recent weeks have seen growing frustration among applicants, with many concerned about missing academic deadlines and jeopardizing their educational opportunities due to prolonged processing times.

Speaking on Accra-based Citi FM on Thursday, December 19, Visa Chief at the US Embassy in Accra, Stacy Comp, acknowledged the challenges and assured listeners that the embassy is actively working to address the issue.

“I can assure you that I am going to take this issue back and go into the system to see what is going on.

“I will contact our third-party contractor to identify the problem and request a list of students currently in the expedited student visa appointment queue to see if we can accommodate their requests,” she said.

Ms Comp apologized for the inconvenience caused by the delays and emphasized the embassy’s appreciation for the strong interest in studying in the United States.

She highlighted the importance of educational exchanges in strengthening the US-Ghana relationship.

The Embassy assured affected students that efforts are underway to resolve the bottlenecks and expedite the visa issuance process, reaffirming its commitment to supporting Ghanaian students in pursuing their academic goals.

Sabalenka ‘living best life’ after solving US Open struggles https://www.adomonline.com/sabalenka-living-best-life-after-solving-us-open-struggles/ Sun, 08 Sep 2024 15:36:18 +0000 https://www.adomonline.com/?p=2445687 After previous heartache in New York, Aryna Sabalenka has finally got her hands on the US Open trophy.

The Belarusian was reduced to tears following her loss to Coco Gauff in last year’s final after winning the opening set comfortably.

In 2022, she let a 4-2 lead slip in the deciding set of her semi-final against Iga Swiatek, while she fell to a shock defeat by Leylah Fernandez at the same stage a year earlier.

But the 26-year-old said she was “the happiest person in the world” after beating American Jessica Pegula 7-5 7-5 in the final to finally triumph at Flushing Meadows.

“I’m speechless. I remember all the tough losses here,” Sabalenka said.

“They say you’re going to see the reason later. I see the reason right now.

“That’s why it’s very special, because no matter what, every time I was coming back stronger and I was learning. I never gave up on this dream.”

Sabalenka ‘living her best life’

Image caption: Sabalenka jokingly patted the replica of her tiger tattoo on her fitness trainer Jason Stacy’s head

Before this year’s US Open, Sabalenka said she was trying to find “things which bring joy” after a tough year.

In March, her former boyfriend Konstantin Koltsov died in what Sabalenka called “an unthinkable tragedy”.

She later said, with hindsight, she should have taken a break from playing. She went on to struggle with a stomach problem in her French Open quarter-final defeat in June, before withdrawing from Wimbledon a few weeks later with a shoulder injury.

The injury-enforced break allowed her to refresh and, in New York, she has shown a fun and relaxed approach with her team off the court.

When she successfully defended her Australian Open title in January, she made it a tradition to write her signature on her fitness trainer Jason Stacy’s head.

Instead of her signature, Stacy stuck Sabalenka’s iconic tiger tattoo on the top of his head for the final against Pegula.

The second seed was seen poking fun at Stacy’s head in her celebrations, while she joked during her post-match news conference that he should have placed the image in the middle of his forehead.

“She is living her best life,” former British number one Laura Robson told Sky Sports.

“You just have to look at the environment she has around her. She has her physio tattooing a lion on his head and you see them all laughing and joking.

“It translates into her game on the court because everything is going to plan off the court.”

Behind her cheerful approach, however, is a bigger motivation for Sabalenka to keep pursuing Grand Slam success.

She has spoken about the impact of losing her father, Sergey, who died in 2019, and says it is her goal to “put our family name in the history of tennis”.

“Every time I see my name on that trophy, I’m so proud of myself, I’m proud of my family that they never gave up on my dream,” she said.

“They were doing everything they could to keep me going.”

‘The best hard court player in the world’

A three-time Grand Slam champion on hard courts, Sabalenka has lost just one of her past 28 major matches on the surface.

Sabalenka has quickly returned to the top of her game during the summer hard-court swing – winning the title in Cincinnati last month before succeeding at Flushing Meadows.

Former world number one and 18-time major singles winner Martina Navratilova has described her as the “best hard-court player in the world”.

Sabalenka can now challenge world number one Iga Swiatek – the ‘Queen of Clay’ after winning a third straight French Open title in June – for the year-end world number one ranking.

“It’s so much more interesting now with the way that Sabalenka is playing because before it felt like Swiatek was just a level above everyone around her,” former British number one Annabel Croft said on BBC 5 Live.

“It feels like Sabalenka has got that inner confidence and belief. She has added more to her game and become very interesting.

“She really is going to challenge Swiatek for that world number one [ranking].”

Sabalenka looks for ‘things which bring joy’ at US Open https://www.adomonline.com/sabalenka-looks-for-things-which-bring-joy-at-us-open/ Sat, 24 Aug 2024 08:34:59 +0000 https://www.adomonline.com/?p=2438216 Aryna Sabalenka says she has been trying to find “things which bring joy” as she aims to end a challenging year with her first US Open title.

The world number two emphatically defended her Australian Open title in January to start the year strongly.

However, in March the Belarusian’s former boyfriend, Konstantin Koltsov, died in what Sabalenka called “an unthinkable tragedy”.

The 26-year-old opted to continue playing – and says, with hindsight, that she should have taken a break.

Sabalenka struggled with a stomach problem in her French Open quarter-final defeat and had to withdraw from Wimbledon a few weeks later with a shoulder injury.

After missing a month to recover, she returned to the WTA Tour in early August and won the Cincinnati Open title last week.

“I think definitely after this year, mentally I will become even stronger,” she said on Friday.

“Looking back, I definitely think that I should have just stopped and separated myself from tennis, just have this little break and recharge and start things over again.

“I think I kind of overplayed, and I carried a lot.”

Sabalenka reached the final at Flushing Meadows last year, losing to Coco Gauff in three sets.

She started the year in impressive form, defending her Australian Open title without dropping a set and taking just 76 minutes to beat Zheng Qinwen in the final.

She has often been seen joking with her coaching team and began a pre-match tradition of writing her signature on her fitness trainer Jason Stacy’s head in Melbourne.

Sabalenka said her personality comes from her father, Sergey, a former ice hockey player who died in 2019 and who she counts as her biggest motivation.

“I wish he would be still alive. I think we would have so much fun together right now,” she said.

“Before, I was probably too much into tennis and trying to be too focused, putting myself under so much pressure.

“Lately, I just realised that this is not how things work. You have to balance this hard work, these expectations, pressure, and everything, with [a] little joy.

“You have to find things which bring you joy, and I have my crazy team and we have so much fun together.”

The US Open begins on Monday, with heavy title favourite Sabalenka opening her campaign against qualifier Priscilla Hon.

Can my brother-in-law take over my late husband’s properties? https://www.adomonline.com/can-my-brother-in-law-take-over-my-late-husbands-properties/ Wed, 13 Mar 2024 13:08:20 +0000 https://www.adomonline.com/?p=2368562 Dear Mirror Lawyer, I recently lost my husband to a sudden illness, and I have been very distraught ever since.

We had three children; two boys and a girl, all below ten years old.

Luckily for me, my husband was very successful, and he left us two houses, one in Aburi and one in Tema, where I currently reside with my children.

He also had a fleet of cars which he used to operate a ride-share business or “Uber”.

The cars are three Kia Mornings, two Toyota Corollas and five Hyundai i10s.

My late husband has a younger brother, Kwame, who has seized the cars, and I have learnt he is preparing to sell them off.

A friend told me that his brother cannot interfere with his property.

I am yet to get a lawyer but I need to know what to do next.

My husband died without a will.

Could you please help me?

Akua Marfo, Tema.

Thanks, Akua, for your inquiry. I am sorry to hear about your husband’s passing.

I hope you and your children are holding up well.

I understand your concern about your brother-in-law’s behaviour in the plans to sell your late husband’s cars.

Since, according to you, your husband died without making a will, he would be deemed under Ghana’s law to have died intestate.

The good news is that the intestacy law is on your side in this scenario.

The current law governing the distribution of property on a person’s death intestate is the Intestate Succession Act of 1985 PNDCL 111.

The law says where a person dies intestate, and a spouse or children or both survive the deceased, all his household chattels shall be the property of the surviving spouse and the children absolutely, which implies they do not have to share with any person, sibling, or family member.

Household chattels are defined in section 18 of the law to include jewellery, clothes, furniture and furnishings, refrigerator, television, radiogram, any other electrical and electronic appliances, kitchen and laundry equipment, simple agricultural equipment, hunting equipment, books, motor vehicles, other than vehicles used wholly for commercial purposes, and household livestock.

By this definition, motor vehicles registered as private vehicles or not for commercial purposes are the property of the surviving spouse and children.

Where the vehicles are registered for commercial use or, as you have stated in this scenario, they are used for Uber business, the understanding would be the vehicles operate in the commercial sector.

In that case, according to the law, you and your children would be entitled to 75 per cent of the fleet of vehicles, approximately 7 out of the 10 cars.

So either way, whether the vehicles are for private or commercial use, Kwame, your husband’s brother, has no right to sell them.

The other legal issue arising from this scenario is that by law, until the court gives Letters of Administration to persons appointed to administer the estate, no one has the right to use or sell any of the deceased person’s properties.

Any such interference will make you liable for intermeddling.

The law states that a person is liable for intermeddling if that person administers the estate of a deceased person without having been appointed an administrator by the courts.

Since your brother-in-law is not an administrator but is administering your late husband’s estate, he is also liable for intermeddling.

The law allows you to take steps to protect your interest in the estate since you are a beneficiary of his estate.

Engage the services of a lawyer to apply for Letters of Administration to enable you to administer his estate.

After the application, your lawyer will file an application before the court to punish Kwame for intermeddling.

Jospong Group supports dialysis patients at the Bank Hospital https://www.adomonline.com/jospong-group-supports-dialysis-patients-at-the-bank-hospital/ Sun, 11 Feb 2024 13:27:20 +0000 https://www.adomonline.com/?p=2354368 The Jospong Group of Companies has supported the Bank Hospital with a cheque of GH¢120,000.

The gesture which forms part of the Group’s corporate social responsibility it is aimed at assisting with the medical bills of renal patients at the hospital.

Presenting the cheque, the Director of Communication and Corporate Affairs at Zoomlion Ghana Ltd. Ms. Emma Adwoa Appiaa Osei-Duah noted that every year the company embarks on charity endeavours by identifying needy institutions and individuals and supports them in which ever means they can.

Last year, the company took a decision to support the dialysis program, hence settling on three dialysis units in Accra for the support.

“Every year after our end of year Thanksgiving service, we engage in charity, and in 2023, we decided to support the dialysis units of three hospitals,” she explained.

The total figure for the three beneficiary hospitals; the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital, the University of Ghana Medical Center (UGMC), and the Bank Hospital, is GH¢500,000.

Receiving the cheque, the Chief Finance Officer, madam Grace Awotwi, commended the Jospong Group for the support and promised that the money would be of great support to the patients.

On his part, a dialysis specialist at the hospital, Franklin Asare, noted that it has been very challenging for some patients to pay for their bills.

He therefore called on the government to consider absorbing the cost of dialysis on the national insurance scheme.

“I believe the government can help with the cost of at least a session of dialysis a week, which could be covered under the national insurance scheme to help reduce the burden,” he pleaded.

A patient, Ms. Stacy Adam Behinni, a 24-year-old, former student of the Tema Secondary School, commending the Jospong Group for the benevolence, said she has been on dialysis for four years and this has hindered the advancement of her education.

This is because the sickness has been a toll on her parents.

“This sickness has brought a lot of pain to my family because every week they have find money to pay my bills, and this has not been easy at all,” she cried.

It is estimated that between 13% and 17% of Ghana’s population have some form of renal function impairment.

This equates to between 4 million and 5.2 million citizens. Researchers suggest that, from this segment of the population, between 15,000 and 19,500 should be on dialysis.

The data available suggests that approximately 2,000 people are currently on dialysis.

This means between 13,000 and 17,500 people are without treatment. These people will often seek alternative forms of treatment and access renal care only when the situation is acute. This has an impact on their quality of life and life expectancy.

CID probes death of Aburi Girls SHS student https://www.adomonline.com/cid-probes-death-of-aburi-girls-shs-student/ Sat, 10 Feb 2024 05:33:57 +0000 https://www.adomonline.com/?p=2354042 The Criminal Investigations Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service has began investigations into the circumstances that led to the death of a 16-year-old student of the Aburi Girls Senior High School (SHS).

The Eastern Regional Minister, Seth Acheampong disclosed this on Friday after visiting the school with the Education Minister, Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum and other relevant stakeholders.

The first-year student, Stacy Okyere tragically passed on Sunday, February 4 after complaining of stomach pains.

School authorities have come under criticisms following allegations that Stacy was denied medical attention by the school nurse, who accused her of repeatedly feigning illness.

But Mr Acheampong has stated it will be premature to blame management, hence the need for a probe by the police to bring finality.

“I have been given a briefing by the management of the school. Because of the nature of the passing of the student, it becomes a conversation which requires law enforcement agencies, in particular, the CID of the Ghana Police, to come in and investigate the matter for us.

“The Ghana Education service(GES) has its own mechanisms of investigating these matters as well, and so for us, it’s premature to offer any form of conclusions in respect of this matter,” he told journalists.

Mr Acheampong further called for calm amidst the difficult situation.

“We are here to express our condolences to management and students. We pray to God to strengthen the family. We are keenly following investigations, and we will keep the sanctity of this institution,” he added.

Meanwhile, school management and GES have been tight-lipped about the unfortunate incident.

Mr Okyere is alleging negligence on the part of the school led to the death of his 16-year-old daughter, Stacy who had no medical condition.

According to him, his checks have revealed his daughter reported ill at 12 p.m. unfortunately, not a word was said about it to the family until evening.

“The school killed my child. I received a call at 8pm on Sunday 4th February from my daughter’s housemistress. She asked me to come and pick my daughter up to the hospital, because she was sick.

“I even felt it was too late, but I still decided to go. On my way the woman kept calling almost every two minutes. I was even angry because I expected her to at least send my daughter to the hospital first before calling me,” he narrated in an interview with Accra-based TV3.

The distraught father claimed he rushed to the school but was met with an unpleasant and shocking situation.

“When I got to the school, my daughter was lying on the floor unconscious with the housemistress seated and her mates had surrounded her. My wife started screaming and wailing. I was so shocked and the sight of my daughter suddenly made me weak,” the heartbroken father said.

Determined to save his daughter, Mr Okyere, Stacy was rushed to the Tetteh Quarshie Memorial Hospital but was unfortunately pronounced dead.

“When we arrived at the hospital, I was told she was brought in dead,” he said almost in tears.

The father has raised serious questions about the welfare of students are demanding an independent probe into the matter amidst threats to sue the school.

“Why did they take my child’s health insurance if they can’t take her to the hospital when sick? Would they have waited for me to come to the school if I was in Bole-Bamboi?” he questioned.

Reports indicate Stacy who was at Edinburgh House was admitted to the school about a month ago.

Meanwhile, the school management is yet to comment on the incident five days after media reports with the body is also in police custody, pending autopsy.

Advocacy organisation, Africa Education Watch (Eduwatch) is demanding that the Ghana Education Service (GES) speak on the matter to bring closure.

Pressure mounts on GES to speak on death of Aburi Girls student https://www.adomonline.com/pressure-mounts-on-ges-to-speak-on-death-of-aburi-girls-student/ Thu, 08 Feb 2024 21:37:06 +0000 https://www.adomonline.com/?p=2353541 An advocacy organisation, Africa Education Watch (Eduwatch) is calling on the Ghana Education Service (GES) to speak on the death of the first year student of Aburi Girls Senior High School (SHS).

Executive Secretary, Kofi Asare has questioned the silence of GES four days after the unfortunate incident went public.

“What is the use of the mandatory NHIS Card for student? Ghana Education Service must pronounce on this matter immediately,” he demanded.

Taking to Facebook, Mr Asare posed thought provoking questions on the circumstances that led to the untimely death.

“Has the GES not issued a statement on the reported death in school of the SHS 1 Aburi Girls student? Sources indicate the girl was sick for days, kept in school till her parents arrived from Ablekuma to take her to a hospital located minutes away from the school.

“According to the hospital, she was Brought In Dead. Why did the school authorities keep her in school till she ‘died’? Is it standard practice for school authorities to call parents to travel and go carry their sick wards to hospital when one is located minutes away?” Mr Asare quizzed.

The deceased, 16-year-old Stacy Okyere reportedly passed on Sunday, February 4, but the details around the unfortunate incident are still not clear.

Stacy is said to have gained admission to the school about a month ago.

Her family who have accused school management of negligence are demanding a thorough independent investigation to unravel the truth of the matter.

They have threatened to initial legal action if the school is found guilty in the course of investigation.

Stacy reportedly complained of stomach pains but was denied medical attention over claims of feigning her sickness.

Unfortunately, she passed after being rushed to the hospital.

The body has since been deposited at the Tetteh Quarshie Memorial Hospital pending autopsy.

Sexual myths of Ghanaians https://www.adomonline.com/sexual-myths-of-ghanaians/ Mon, 20 Mar 2023 16:54:52 +0000 https://www.adomonline.com/?p=2230135 Sex is the highest form of expressing love. Apart from its procreative role, sex gives many physical and mental benefits.

Studies have also shown sex resolves most conflicts in a relationship.

A good sexual life is therefore a good indicator of the health of a relationship.

Sex, however, does not put a premium on ignorance. No matter how much partners love each other, they suffer for lack of knowledge about sex. If you fill your mind with myths, failure is inevitable.

Sex is for a man only: Many Ghanaian men see sex as a birthright to show how strong they are. They are ,therefore, completely self-centred while the woman is expected to play corpse in bed.

Recently, a man divorced his wife for showing ecstacy during sex. He saw her as a spoilt woman  and a thief  who ‘stole’ what was reserved for him. It is to ensure man’s monopoly that today about 140 million people in Ghana and globally are victims of Female Genital Mutilation.(FGM:).

Female orgasm is basically through stimulation of the clitoris. If this clitoris is removed, orgasm is terminated. She dies inside, loses her very womanhood and becomes an insensitive sexual tool to be used by a man.
Fact is, males and females have analogous sexual organs connected to similar nerves. Done right, a male and female can enjoy sex to the same level and intensity. In fact unlike a man, a woman is capable of multiple orgasms in one “round.”

Size of male organ: Among primates, human beings have the largest size of male organ. At rest, most male organs measure three-five inches from the base. Note that there is no correlation between the size of a man and his male organ. A huge six-foot man may therefore have a smaller male organ than a thin five-foot man.

An erect male organ, ranges from four to seven inches long and four to five inches in circumference.

Some men can achieve 100 per cent increase in size on erection. It is important to appreciate that the circumference of a male organ is far more important than its length in arousing pleasure in a woman because it stimulates the clitoris and lower third of a woman better.

Length is not very important because after three inches she is almost sensitive. Studies show three inches circumference is more than sufficient. This means that all males are adequately endowed.  A man with a big male organ does not necessarily give his wife more pleasure than one with a small size and vice versa. This means it is not the size of the male organ that matters but what you do with what you have. Simply put, size does not matter.

Many e-mails come in from men who worry about size of their male organs. They worry merely out of ego and spend on penile enlargement. For most men, size is a measure of masculinity. We are born competitive at work, sports and in sex. No wonder young boys compare sizes and even compete on who produces the longest stream of urine.

When a man looks at his male organ, he is looking down and any size may look unimpressive when you look down. When he looks across the same size may appear bigger. This is a principle in perspective.

Menstrual period:  Many Ghanaians see the menstrual period as dirty, harmful and poisonous. They never have sex during this period. In fact, in the olden days, a woman in her period was not expected to cook for her husband.
Instead, she was to stay behind the house or ‘afikyire’ thus ‘ko afikyire’  in Akan and similar phrases in other languages in

Ghana literally meaning she has gone behind the house means a woman is in her period.
Fact is menstrual flow is not poisonous neither does it cause infection. It does no harm to the man or woman. Couples may therefore have sex when she is in her period. The missionary position is best during this time. Some women enjoy sex better during their period, partly because they have reduced sexual inhibition from the fear of pregnancy. You must also appreciate that any woman in her fertility period, especially those with irregular cycles, is capable of getting pregnant during her period.

Our myth about the menstrual period may have left some women childless.

Pregnancy : Some Ghanaians avoid sex during pregnancy for fear that the pregnancy will ‘spoil’. After birth, some stay apart for several months to allow the woman to ‘dry’. Fact is except medically advised, sex is safe at all stages of pregnancy and about four weeks after delivery.

Sex is God’s greatest gift to couples. He designed our bodies for it and commanded us to use this gift to enhance marriage. Sex in marriage is, therefore, holy and an act of worship as we do what God has commanded us to do. Good lovers are however not born. They are made by learning and doing. Push away myths.

Let sex be mutual love, exploration, pleasure and excitement. With the right knowledge, attitude and techniques, couples will reap the amazing benefits of sex.

The week-long mega Celebration of Tarkwa Secondary School (TARSCO), which begins on the 21st of November and ends with a grand durban on the 27th of November 2022, is expected to record thousands of old students (TARSCODIANS) on campus, drawn from policy making institutions, corporate institutions, the Academia among others to share in the celebration.

The theme for the celebration ‘Achieving Academic Excellence Through Discipline for National Development’, according to the Planning Committee, was carefully chosen owing to the discipline and integrity exhibited in all facets of life by TARSCODIANS where-wherever they find themselves.

She moved to the US with big dreams and met a boyfriend but then she vanished https://www.adomonline.com/she-moved-to-the-us-with-big-dreams-and-met-a-boyfriend-but-then-she-vanished/ Mon, 05 Sep 2022 23:10:53 +0000 https://www.adomonline.com/?p=2159195 Irene Gakwa’s last WhatsApp video call with her parents was filled with gentle ribbing. But beneath the banter were hints that something was off.

When her face appeared on the phone screen, her dad teased her that she looked hungry and tired. Her smile was more subdued, he noted. Her short hair, usually braided, was rumpled.

“Make sure you drink hot milk and relax,” her dad said from his living room in the Kenyan capital of Nairobi.

That was February 24, the last time anyone in her family saw her.

A month later – less than three years after Gakwa left Kenya for the United States – her family reported her missing. At the time of the February video call, Gakwa’s parents were not aware she was living in Gillette, Wyoming, with a man she’d met on a Craigslist dating forum.

They also had no way of knowing that police would later accuse the man of removing money from her checking account, maxing out her credit card and deleting her email account. And they never imagined that six months would go by without a word from her.

“She’s always been a daddy’s girl,” said her father, Francis Kambo, in a recent phone interview from Nairobi. He took a deep breath as he recalled that last video call with his only daughter and youngest of his three children.

“She was supposed to come home for Christmas this year. I was going to buy that ticket myself for her to come if she couldn’t afford it,” he added, his voice shaking.

“Now I don’t know if I’ll ever see her again.”

Her worried family members span two continents

Gakwa’s worried family spans two continents 9,000 miles apart.

Her parents live in Nairobi while her two older brothers, Chris Munga and Kennedy Wainaina, live in the Idaho city of Meridian – a Boise suburb.

Her father started worrying in late February when she did not respond to repeated video calls. This was unusual for the 32-year-old, who spoke to her parents about every other day.

Chris Munga and his wife, Gyoice Abatey, attend a vigil for his missing sister in Gillette, Wyoming. The couple makes the 12-hour drive from their home in Meridian, Idaho, to take part in local searches.

And her written messages sounded odd, her family said. Instead of the mix of Swahili and Kenyan slang she uses, the messages were in stilted English – like someone was using Google Translate to send them, said Wainaina, her oldest brother.

“The texts would be out of place,” her father said.

In early March – between the last video call and the day she was reported missing – her parents received some short WhatsApp messages from her account. Some made excuses for why she wasn’t doing video calls.

“Dad, I dropped my phone in the water and now the microphone doesn’t work,” one message said.

Another said, “I just want you to know I love and miss you and mom.”

“We miss you … we want to see you, not just chat on WhatsApp,” her father responded. “We love you always. You will … be my daughter forever.”

Her boyfriend told police she packed her bags and left

The last WhatsApp message came on March 9, her father said.

The three siblings share a cell phone family plan. After Gakwa’s brothers could not reach her, they looked through her phone records and called a close friend she’d talked to numerous times.

That’s how they found out she had been living with her boyfriend, Nathan Hightman, 39, in a modest three-bedroom house in Gillette. The couple had dated since 2020, but had broken up several times, Wainaina said. Her brothers thought they’d parted ways and were not aware they’d rekindled their romance and moved in together.

Nathan Hightman is accused of financial crimes against Irene Gakwa. Before her disappearance, the couple lived together in Gillette, Wyoming.

Her brothers reported her missing to the Gillette Police Department on March 20, and an officer talked to Hightman the same day, according to an affidavit of probable cause in a related separate criminal case against her boyfriend.

Hightman told the officer he last saw Gakwa in late February, when she came home one night, packed her clothing in two plastic bags and left in a dark-colored SUV, the affidavit said. He told police he hadn’t heard from her since. He also said he withdrew money from her bank account so she would be forced to contact him if she needed money, the affidavit said.

Hightman did not respond to the brothers’ request to hand over her stuff in their home, Wainaina said. They implored him to give them her documents, including her Kenyan passport, but Hightman declined, Wainaina added.

Hightman is considered a person of interest in her disappearance and has “not made himself available to detectives looking to resolve questions that exist in the investigation,” Gillette police said in a statement.

“We believe he has information pertaining to the disappearance of Irene, but he has elected not to provide that information to law enforcement at this time,” Gillette police detective Dan Stroup told CNN.

CNN has made repeated attempts to reach Hightman via phone, text and email, but he has not responded. CNN also left messages for his public defender, Dallas Lamb, but did not hear back.

Hightman has not been charged in Gakwa’s disappearance, but is a suspect in financial crimes against her after she went missing. Gillette police arrested him in May and charged him with two felony counts of theft, one felony count of unlawful use of a credit card, and two felony counts of crimes against intellectual property for allegedly changing her banking account password and deleting her email account after she vanished.

Between February and March, Hightman transferred nearly $3,700 from Gakwa’s bank account to his own and spent an additional $3,230 on her credit card, court documents allege.

He also changed her banking passwords and deleted her Gmail account, court documents said. All the changes were made from an IP address associated with Hightman after the date he told police Gakwa had moved out, according to the probable cause affidavit.

“This would indicate it was Nathan Hightman accessing Irene’s account, removing money and changing the password to deny access to Irene,” the affidavit said. “These transactions began on February 25, 2022, and continued through March 2022.”

Hightman has pleaded not guilty to all charges and was released on a $10,000 bond. His pretrial conference is scheduled for November.

Her adopted community is pushing for answers

Meanwhile, Gakwa’s two brothers and her sister-in-law have been commuting to Gillette from Meridian several weekends a month to organize search parties. Most days, they have no idea where to begin.

They’ve visited morgues and hospitals. They’ve checked shelters for unhoused people. They’ve launched a website, whereisirene.com. They’ve asked local authorities to check whether she joined the US military – an idea she briefly entertained.

Some residents of Gillette, a city of 32,000 in northeastern Wyoming, have rallied to find her. Wearing T-shirts that read, “Where’s Irene?” they’ve hosted weekend search parties and canvassed neighborhoods seeking permission to put up missing person signs. It’s not unusual to see images of Gakwa posted in the neighborhood where she lived with her boyfriend.

“No family should ever have to go to bed at night wondering where their loved one is,” said Stacy Koester, who lives in Gillette and has been organizing searches with a group of local women since April.

They’ve mapped out areas to search and marked off where they’ve already looked so they don’t go over the same place twice, Koester said.

“We promised her father and her brothers that we will never stop searching until we bring her home or they have answers,” she added. “That’s our goal. We are their family here in Gillette.”

Koester and other neighbors also have gathered outside Hightman’s home, holding signs and chanting, “Nate, where’s Irene?”

Sometimes, her father watches the demonstrations via video from Kenya.

But with every passing day, hope fades a little.

Her parents had mixed feelings about her move to the US

Born and raised in Kenya, Gakwa emigrated to the United States in May 2019, hoping to launch a career in health care. A petite woman, she stood just over 5 feet tall and weighed about 90 pounds.

At first, her parents resisted their introverted daughter’s plans to move to a faraway country. They worried about how she’d adjust – she was so shy, she barely left her room in their suburban Nairobi home to go outside, her father said.

“We sometimes had to remind her to get out of the house and get some sunlight,” her father said. “But we decided since her brothers are there, why not?”

Gakwa settled first in Idaho to be near her brothers, with dreams of attending nursing school and working in a hospital. She lived with the younger of her brothers, Chris Munga, and his wife, Gyoice Abatey, in Meridian.

There, she developed a close bond with her sister-in-law. Both women took a girls’ trip to Los Angeles in 2020, and in between shopping, eating out and visits to the beach, Gakwa confided to Abatey that she was dating Hightman. Gakwa spent a lot of time with him on the phone, Abatey said, but did not share many details about their relationship.

Abatey described her sister-in-law as a sweet, fun-loving person who started her mornings with a cup of tea and enjoyed cooking, shopping and watching Nigerian movies.

“She’s such a free spirit, so caring, goofy, she just goes with the flow,” Abatey said.

Gakwa and Hightman eventually moved in together in Meridian, and she started nursing school at College of Western Idaho. In the summer of 2021, they relocated to Gillette, where she transferred to Gillette Community College.

At times, her father would ask Gakwa if she wanted to return to Kenya.

“She’d tell me, ‘Dad, I’m good. I have my own life now,’” Kambo said.

In the months before she vanished, Gakwa returned to Meridian several times to visit her family.

Last Thanksgiving, they gathered at the house of Munga, her brother. There, she and her siblings made their favorite African delicacies, including goat barbecue, jollof rice and ugali, a form of corn meal popular in Kenya.

Gakwa cooked a side of cabbage with lots of tomatoes – just like their mother used to make while they were growing up. She taught Abatey how to make it for her brother.

They ate and talked late into the night.

That was the last time her siblings saw her in person.

Her boyfriend allegedly bought boots and a shovel using her bank card

The Gillette Police Department said it has executed approximately 24 search warrants in the case, including at Hightman’s home and at several banks to track activity on Gakwa’s accounts.

During one of the searches, investigators recovered a shovel and boots Hightman bought at a Walmart in late February using Gakwa’s Visa card, according to court documents.

In April, Gillette police issued a statement naming Hightman “a person of interest” in the case and saying, “he has not made himself available to detectives looking to resolve questions that exist in the investigation.”

The police added, “Irene went missing under suspicious circumstances. … digital evidence, including location data, is also being analyzed and has provided positive leads.”

Stroup, the detective, said the investigation is ongoing.

“In the event probable cause is established, appropriate action will be taken,” he said.

Her family is struggling between hope and grief

Gakwa’s family is still holding out hope that somehow she’ll contact them or come back home. The alternative is too hard to bear.

Abatey wishes she’d held Gakwa a little tighter the last time they hugged. Her children ask over and over where their aunt is.

Gakwa’s 33rd birthday was in July, and her nephews thought if they threw a party, maybe she’d show up. Instead, they held a Zoom vigil. Her friends and family shed tears and shared memories and photos of her, struggling between using past or present tense.

“Whether we meet in this life or the next, know that you’re absolutely loved,” one friend said. At the end, they played a video of a beaming Gakwa dancing and singing along to “Drogba (Joanna),” a song by UK artist Afro B.

A young Irene Gakwa is shown with her father, Francis Kambo, in Nairobi, Kenya. "She's always been a daddy's girl," her father said.

“My children don’t understand why auntie is not calling them, how she just disappeared,” Abatey said. “Sometimes I just imagine her walking through the door, and saying, ‘Why are you looking for a grown woman like me?’ As the days go by and nothing happens, we don’t know what to do.”

Thousands of miles away, Gakwa’s parents pray for her every night. Her mother is too distraught to talk to reporters, but Kambo, her father, said sharing memories of his daughter helps him cope.

He chuckles when he remembers their close relationship.

“She was my only daughter. I spoiled her and she took advantage of that,” he said. “She had not introduced Nathan to me – that’s what kills me.”

Some days, he’s optimistic she’ll make it home for Christmas. But most days, not so much.

“I just want to know the truth. I’m still hopeful, but my hope is dwindling. She knows my number,” he added.

“The fact that she has not called …”

His voice trailed off.

I used to sleep with 4 women a day – Popular gospel musician confesses https://www.adomonline.com/i-used-to-sleep-with-4-women-a-day-popular-gospel-musician-confesses/ Mon, 10 May 2021 10:40:39 +0000 https://www.adomonline.com/?p=1956905 Gospel musician and producer Morris Babyface has recounted his former way of life as a chronic womanizer before his transformation to being a fully grounded Christian.

Now an Evangelist, Morris said he used to live on the wild side of life and slept with at least four ladies in a day to satisfy his sexual pleasure.

Babyface disclosed this in an interview on ‘Restoration With Stacy’, adding that he cried in regret after the act, which was due to his inability to control his sexual desires despite all efforts to resist the temptation.

Morris Babyface
Morris Babyface

At a point, I realized being a womanizer wasn’t a good thing. I knew my mother was praying for me for a change of mind and direction but I came to the realization that it all depended on me and I could die at any time.

People think I exaggerate but it’s true I used to sleep with four women a day. The devil will make you think you’re smart. It was that bad. I believe if I weren’t saved by grace, by now, I would have exceeded that limit.

I could fast and pray for redemption but just when I’m about to break the fast, one of the girls would call and I’d ask her to come over; we’ll have sex and the fast would be nullified.

Interestingly, after doing this, I can be alone in my room weeping because I needed God to save me. I couldn’t stop, I kept falling.

Having had a revelation about how people are suffering in hell, Morris Babyface said that was all he needed to turna new leaf.

He is therefore advising unbelievers to accept Christ as their Lord and personal saviour and work towards their salvation so as not to perish.

Top scandals that rocked Ghana in 2020 https://www.adomonline.com/top-scandals-that-rocked-ghana-in-2020/ Sat, 02 Jan 2021 12:55:44 +0000 https://www.adomonline.com/?p=1900261 2020 was like a roller coaster; ups and downs, the good, bad, ugly and scandalous.

Adomonline.com has compiled some of the scandals that rocked Ghana last year.

Below are some incidents that shook Ghana in 2020:

The wild ‘pyjamas’ video of Kan Dapaah:

Ghana’s National Security Minister, Albert Kan Dapaah was in caught in a romantic conversation with a lady in January 2020.

In the video which went viral, the minister was seen subjecting himself to the dictates of the lady in question.

The love struck 66-year-old National Security capo was seen modeling in his dark-blue dotted pyjamas at the request of the young woman.

Mr Dapaah was advised by security experts to resign, but he never did, though his scandal was on the lips of Ghanaians for a long period.

Felix Ofosu Kwakye caught in the house of his alleged lover:

Another major story that made headlines was the leaked video of National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary candidate for the Abura Asebu Kwamankese Constituency, Felix Ofosu Kwakye.

The candidate, donned in the party’s t-shirt, was captured by his alleged lover’s relation after she stated she had constantly seen him in the apartment.

Felix, who at the time was in the bedroom of the said lover, defended he only went there to pick up some party items, since he had no space in his home.

This is believed to be one of the contributing factors to his defeat in the December 7 elections.

Sex tape of the famous ‘sushi king’, D-black:

Known for his high-standard lifestyle, D-black shocked the nation when a tape of him aggressively bonking an unidentified lady went viral.

The rapper and his lover, both nude, were aware their escapade was being filmed, as they conversed before their intercourse.

In the said video, the lover was heard quizzing D-black on what to eat, which he replied ‘Sushi’.

In another part of the about two-minute video, the rapper was moaning loudly as he engaged in naughty conversations with the said lady.

Ghanaians and celebrities teased him on the leak, but he never held any grudges.

The diary of controversies on the ‘Papa No’:

As the electioneering period fast approached, another suspected politically-related scandal involving the side chicks of a prominent person emerged.

The scandal between actress Tracey Boakye and musician Mzbel entertained Ghanaians for five whole months.

It all began when Tracey accused Mzbel of crawling her way into the life of her lover, whom they both referred as ‘Papa No’, for fear of denting his hard-earned reputation.

The side-chicks threw jabs at each other, with Tracey describing Mzbel as a “worthless old lady with grey pubic hair”.

The latter also hit back, tagging Tracey as an unintelligent side-chick whose aim is to destroy a home, adding she wont live to see the beauty of old age.

The ‘Papa No’ saga escalated when Kennedy Agyapong descended Tracey, threatening to expose her dealings if she doesn’t keep mute.

The whole saga ended with Mzbel ignoring her rival, and Tracey and Kennedy exchanging apologies for their ill words.

Victoria Hamah and her brother washing their dirty linens in public:

Soon after the well-battled December 7 elections were over, the country had something to talk about again when the Hamah siblings exposed their rivalry in plain sight.

Former propaganda secretary, Lord Hamah, dropped jaws when he described his elder sister Victoria Lakshmi Hamah, a former Deputy Minister of Communications, “a national sex symbol”.

Lord Hamah’s outrage was sparked when Victoria teased he contested elections and had three votes.

The brother who was disgusted by the Facebook comment, used harsh language on his sister, while questioning her morality.

” Foolish girl! Filthy compromise of the most slothful indolence” is one of Lord Hamah’s punches which got the reply “come and marry me, lol.”

Owusu Bempah versus Stacy Offei’s family:

A scandal which went to its grave with the late Deputy CEO of the National Entrepreneurship Innovation Program (NEIP), Stacy Offei Darko, resurrected again after two years.

Mother of the late Kennedy Agyapong’s baby mama accused Owusu Bempah as the person to answer to her daughter’s death since he introduced her to the doctor who performed the ‘botch’ surgery.

However, the prophet lost his cool and demanded a retraction and apology, which he said will warrant a court action when defied.

The thick-skinned family declined, insisting he and his now ex-wife led Stacy to the Advanced Body Sculpt Centre owned by Dr. Dominic Kwame Obeng-Andoh (Obengfo).

Kuami Eugene opens up on why his dad lost hope in him at age 13 [Video] https://www.adomonline.com/kuami-eugene-opens-up-on-why-his-dad-lost-hope-in-him-at-age-13-video/ Tue, 15 Dec 2020 11:42:19 +0000 https://www.adomonline.com/?p=1894000 Kuami Eugene has revealed that at the young age of 13 his father gave up on him.

Speaking on Restoration with Stacy Amoateng, the Lynx Entertainment signee said owing to his “super stubbornness” as a child, his father decided not to spend any money on his upkeep.

“With my other siblings, he was supporting, but when it came to me my dad stopped supporting me when I was in junior high school because I was not the kind he thought would bring something better out in future,” he recounted.

According to him, his curiosity, drive and thirst for something other than academics made him appear as though he had no bright future.

“The whole family was clever. Me, I’m clever but I want to chase something else. I’m too stubborn… My dad lost hope in me when I was very young. I was like 13,” he said on Restoration with Stacy.

MORE:

Despite overhearing his father tell his mum that he would no longer spend any money on his upkeep, that didn’t change his attitude.

“I was stubborn, and to emphasize, I was raised at Fadama (a suburb of Accra), so my level of stubbornness was high and you need to be a tough mum to be able to handle me.

“You need to be somebody who never gives up to handle me because I was really stubborn. So I don’t blame my dad sometimes, perhaps he just couldn’t handle it anymore,” he said.

Although his father gave up on him, his mother remained committed to him.

He recounted how his mother became well-known in their community because she would go from one game centre to another looking for him, and for that matter, his mother means everything to him.

“My mum means a lot to me. I owe her. Whoever I am today, she had to put me here and I learned a lot from her,” he added.

Prophet Nigel Gaisie replies critics over 2020 election prediction for Mahama [Audio] https://www.adomonline.com/prophet-nigel-gaisie-replies-critics-over-2020-election-prediction-for-mahama-audio/ Fri, 04 Dec 2020 12:43:58 +0000 https://www.adomonline.com/?p=1889086

Founder and Leader of the Prophetic Hill Church, Prophet Nigel Gaisie, has slammed critics of prophets who predict the outcome of the 2020 general election.

Speaking exclusively on Adom FM’s morning show Dwaso Nsem Friday, the controversial prophet, who has predicted that the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) will win this year’s election said one cannot talk about politics without touching on the role of the prophet.

To him, those criticising prophets – including him – for predicting the outcome of the 2020 election, lack knowledge of what the Bible says.

“Anyone who criticises prophets which I am included for predicting the elections don’t know the Bible. In the beginning, we formed the world with the word of God and God’s word is about management and you can’t talk about politics without the role of prophets,” he said.

READ ALSO:

“God used people in the Bible and so there cannot be the role of rulership or leadership without prophets and so if people say we are engaging in politics, then they don’t know the Bible. God will never do anything without the prophets,” he said.

Prophet Gaisie said he has been consistent in his prophecies and so believes John Mahama will be President of Ghana after the December 7 elections.

“God has revealed to me that Mahama will win the 2020 elections and that Akufo-Addo will only take us into darkness if he wins. I am only a prophet and so it will do us good to believe me because it is the spirit of God working through me. I am not a try and error prophet. I have been consistent and that is how it’s going to be,” he stressed.

Asked if he has taken any money from Mr Mahama to be able to make such a prophecy, Prophet Gaisie denied the assertion saying he has never taken money from the NDC’s presidential candidate.

My husband used my mother as a mediator to propose to me at age 19 – Ceccy Twum https://www.adomonline.com/my-husband-used-my-mother-as-a-mediator-to-propose-to-me-at-age-19-ceccy-twum/ Sat, 10 Oct 2020 20:29:51 +0000 https://www.adomonline.com/?p=1865517 Gospel musician, Ceccy Twum, says her husband had to convince her mother to accept his proposal because she was very young at the time he proposed to her.

The ‘Megyefo Ne Yesu’ composer stated that her husband, Prophet Alex Twum, walked straight to her mum and asked of her hand in marriage.

The singer, who said she has been married for 21 years, made this revelation in an interview with popular presenter Stacy Amoateng on the ‘Restoration’ Show.

My mum asked why I wanted to marry early because I didn’t understand it. She thought I would want to explore, she said.

MORE:

I told her I have been a church girl all my life so it’s okay. By the grace of God, my husband is okay with me and I don’t feel its bad I married that time. I have been married for 21 years, she noted.

Additionally, she said though she wasn’t ready for marriage it has caused her more good than harm, unlike others who have issues when they tie the knot early.

I married at age 19…My husband and I were in the same church. I was a singer and hadn’t even prayed about marriage. My interest was in singing.

“He didn’t talk to me about marriage. He rather told my mother. So I asked why he had to tell my mum when I’m the one he’d marry,” Ceccy Twum revealed.

I think the reason he rather told my mum was the fact that I was very young and so even if I say ‘yes’ to him, my mother would have the final say,”

“I never thought of marrying a pastor. I didn’t want to be restricted; I wanted a free life. Till date, if you try to restrict me, I become worried. But my husband isn’t an oppressor. He gives me the room to operate; it’s been very helpful,” she added.

Leader of the Glorious Word Power Ministries International, Rev, Isaac Owusu Bempah has disclosed plans to sue Stacy Offei Darko’s mother for murder allegations.

Miss Darko died two years ago after a failed surgery, and her mother believes Rev Bempah and his ex-wife introduced her to the doctor who worked on her.

But, the church leader denied ever knowing the doctor or having any relation with the deceased except for a prophecy of doom he gave her; warning her not to proceed with her planned surgery.

Two years after her death and its related reports have died down, her mother in a throwback session interview reiterated Rev Bempah was allegedly involved.

She said aside the introduction to the doctor, the pastor is an occult who used her daughter’s blood for his demonic sacrifices.

But Rev. Bempah, in a latest interview with Adom FM, said he will drag the deceased’s mother to court to account for her murder and occultism claims.

Founder and leader of Glorious Word Power Ministry International, Rev. Isaac Owusu Bempah has finally addressed allegations he has a hand in Stacy Offei Darko’s death.

The late Deputy CEO of the National Entrepreneurship Innovation Program (NEIP) died after an alleged botch surgery at Advanced Body Sculpt Centre owned by Dr. Dominic Kwame Obeng-Andoh.

The deceased also had an 8-year-old daughter with Member of Parliament for Assin Central Kennedy Agyapong.

After her painful death, Stacy’s distraught mother claimed Rev. Owusu Bempah and his ex-wife introduced the deceased to Dr. Obeng-Andoh.

Nana Akosua Anima in an interview on Adom FM claimed the prophet has a lot of questions to answer about her daughter’s death.

In response, Rev. Owusu Bempah expressed shock at the claims by the woman.

When she died, Rev. Owusu Bempah said it was her mother who informed him therefore he is amazed the same person is accusing him.
