Speaking on the state of affairs of the Porcupine Warriors, the experienced journalist singled out the Head of Sporting Affairs, Kwesi Appiah for his deep understanding of football management but questioned his availability due to his current role as head coach of the Sudan national team.

In an interview with Luv FM, he expressed concern that Kwesi Appiah’s national team duties make it difficult for him to fully commit to Kotoko’s day-to-day operations.

“Well, if you take Kwesi out, I don’t know of anybody who has his level of experience. That’s true in terms of technical management and his exposure and understanding of the modern game. Unfortunately, Kwesi is an absentee manager. He’s the coach, the full- time coach, of the Sudanese national team.

“It’s not as if the Sudanese national team even resides in Khartoum or anywhere. They move around the whole continent, especially in the greater part of North African area. He doesn’t have time for some of these things to be done,” he said.

According to him, a club of Kotoko’s stature cannot afford to depend on individuals who are not fully present and accountable.

“I think Kotoko cannot be a colts club that relies basically on part timers. Kotoko need full time employees. People talk about passion. Passion is not enough. The most important thing that helps anybody to be able to do their job very well is expertise before other things like passion and all those other things sacrifice and those things come in.

He urged the club to recruit qualified professionals, reward them appropriately and hold them accountable.

“We must have the people with the right expertise, employ them, give them benchmarks, reward them very well. If you are not able to satisfy your bottom line, you just let them go. So just as you have players who are full timers, I don’t think the players do any other job apart from playing, you have coaches who are full time coaches. Why can’t you have full time managers?” he added.

Owusu Bempah hits back at Anthony Karbo over election prophecies https://www.adomonline.com/owusu-bempah-hits-back-at-anthony-karbo-over-election-prophecies/ Tue, 20 Jan 2026 16:28:35 +0000 https://www.adomonline.com/?p=2621678 Founder and leader of Glorious Word Power Ministries, Apostle Dr. Rev. Isaac Owusu Bempah, has criticised former Lawra MP and Senior Advisor to the Bawumia Campaign, Anthony Abayifaa Karbo, over his comments on the role of prophecies in elections.

Speaking on Asempa FM’s Ekosiisen show, Owusu Bempah said he was unhappy with Karbo’s assertion that election outcomes are determined by polls rather than prophecies, and his claim that politicians supply poll data to prophets.

He described the remarks as a general attack on the prophetic ministry.

The cleric expressed surprise at Karbo’s comments, recalling that the former MP had previously visited his home with Sammy Awuku, during which he prophesied Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s victory in the 2016 presidential election.

“I wasn’t happy with the way Anthony Karbo spoke. If he claims he doesn’t believe in prophets, I am surprised because he has visited my house before with Sammi Awuku, and I prophesied that Akufo Addo would be president in 2016. They were very happy about this prophecy. Did he tell me to say what I said?

“Although he didn’t mention names, I am also a prophet. I have made several prophecies about politics that have all come to pass. He should name the prophets who get information from politicians for their prophecies. He spoke generally to all prophets, so he should mention a specific name if he is referring to me,” he stated.

Owusu Bempah insisted that the prophetic ministry is genuine and relevant, noting that several of his political prophecies have come to pass.

He challenged Karbo to mention the names of prophets he claims receive information from politicians.

He further stated that he would no longer pray for Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and some members of the New Patriotic Party, citing what he described as repeated disrespect toward prophets.

He added that although he knows the outcome of future elections, he would only reveal the winner of the 2028 general elections when directed by God.

“The prophetic ministry is real and true. I will no longer pray for Bawumia and his people because they have disrespected us a lot. I know who will win the upcoming election, but I won’t disclose it yet. I am waiting for the national election in 2028 to reveal who will win. God has shown it to me. There are individuals in the NPP that I will not pray for, but if God leads me to do so, I have no choice. What Karbo said felt like a condemnation of the prophetic ministry,” he said.

NPP refers petitions against Owusu Bempah to National Council https://www.adomonline.com/npp-refers-petitions-against-owusu-bempah-to-national-council/ Wed, 24 Sep 2025 19:56:41 +0000 https://www.adomonline.com/?p=2582033 The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has officially referred petitions against its Deputy Director of Communications, Ernest Owusu Bempah, to the National Council for consideration.

In a statement signed by General Secretary Justin Kodua Frimpong, the Party expressed concern over Mr. Bempah’s conduct, noting that formal petitions had been submitted by some members calling for his removal from office.

The statement explained that since Mr. Bempah’s appointment was made upon the recommendation of the National Executive Committee and later approved by the National Council, due process required that the matter be referred to the same Council for determination.

Reaffirming its commitment to fairness and discipline, the NPP assured members that the issue would be handled transparently and in line with the Party’s values.

The disciplinary action against Mr. Bempah stems from allegations that he made comments on social media which contravene party directives.

How Ernest Owusu Bempah ‘scolded’ presidential staffer for not saying please to him https://www.adomonline.com/how-ernest-owusu-bempah-scolded-presidential-staffer-for-not-saying-please-to-him/ Fri, 27 Dec 2024 09:56:43 +0000 https://www.adomonline.com/?p=2488035 In a candid analysis of the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) performance in the 2024 general elections, Justice Abeeku Newton-Offei, a presidential staffer, has highlighted internal issues he believes played a significant role in the party’s electoral defeat.

While some have placed the blame squarely on President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, Newton-Offei argues that the problems underlying the party’s poor performance run deeper than the president’s leadership.

Central to his critique is an incident involving Ernest Kofi Owusu Bempah, the NPP’s Deputy National Communications Officer and Head of Corporate Communications at Ghana Gas.

Mr. Newton-Offei recounts a personal experience where he sought information about Ghana Gas and contacted Owusu Bempah. Rather than assisting, Owusu Bempah allegedly reprimanded him for failing to use the word “please” during their conversation.

“For the life of me, I still can’t understand how Ernest Kofi Owusu Bempah was made a deputy national communication officer of the NPP,” Newton-Offei wrote. “A fortnight ago, he was criticizing his colleagues for not answering calls, yet when I called him for information, he became furious because I didn’t say ‘please.’”

This encounter, he asserted is emblematic of a broader issue within the party: a culture of arrogance and disrespect among some appointees. According to him, many appointees, upon assuming office, develop an attitude of entitlement and disregard for fellow party members and the public.

Newton-Offei didn’t limit his criticism to Owusu Bempah. He also lambasted other appointees, ministers, and figures within the presidency, accusing them of sidelining party foot soldiers while prioritizing less relevant individuals, whom he described as “slay queens.”

He referred to these appointees as “useless busybodies” who have shut their doors to party loyalists, contributing to a growing sense of alienation within the NPP’s grassroots base.

He further criticized the party’s culture of “segregation” and “idiopathic pride and arrogance,” noting that this behavior not only alienated supporters but also eroded public trust, which was critical during the campaign.

Mr. Newton-Offei claimed that even the NPP’s campaign team was disconnected from grassroots feedback, exacerbating the party’s detachment from its base.

This disconnect, according to Mr. Newton-Offei, was a significant factor in the NPP’s defeat, as grassroots members and supporters felt ignored and undervalued.

2024 election: Owusu-Bempah’s prophecy out of anger; not from God – Kate Gyamfuah  https://www.adomonline.com/2024-election-owusu-bempahs-prophecy-out-of-anger-not-from-god-kate-gyamfuah/ Thu, 03 Oct 2024 12:07:00 +0000 https://www.adomonline.com/?p=2456233 National Women’s Organiser of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kate Gyamfuah has downplayed the prophecy of the General Overseer of Glorious Word Power Ministries International, Reverend Isaac Owusu Bempah ahead of the 2024 election.

On Tuesday, the renowned man of God believed to be affiliated with the NPP prophesied that former President John Mahama would win the 2024 election.

At a fellowship between the former and the clergy, Rev Owusu Bempah said the prophecy is a spiritual arrangement that will manifest physically.

This has however sparked controversy in the political space with barely 60 days to the December 7 election.

Reacting to this, Madam Gyamfuah stated that the prophecy is not from God.

In an interview on Accra-based Okay FM, she asserted that the prophecy was more of anger-induced than divination from God.

She indicated that the man of God’s declaration is probably as a result of the fallout with the NPP, given his loyalty, prayers and sacrifices.

“I know him; I know the pain, the prayers, and the fasting he has taken us through. He has worked a lot for the NPP, so he is not happy with what happened, as well as some people going on radio to attack him.

“So, I firmly believe that it was anger; it was an anger-induced prophecy and not a prophecy from within him or having been told by God. I won’t disrespect him, but that is what my soul tells me,” she stated.

Black Stars technical team should have gone the hospital after accident – Owusu Bempah [Audio] https://www.adomonline.com/black-stars-technical-team-should-have-gone-the-hospital-after-accident-owusu-bempah-audio/ Mon, 02 Sep 2024 16:28:39 +0000 https://www.adomonline.com/?p=2442838

Veteran sports analyst, Owusu Bempah believes  Black Stars coach, Otto Addo and the technical team should have sought medical attention after the car accident.

The technical team was in a serious car accident on their way back to Accra after attending the Champion of Champions match between FC Samartex and Nsoatreman FC at the T&N Park on Saturday, August 31, 2024.

Photos of the incident show significant damage to their vehicle, though fortunately, none of the team members were injured.

Speaking on Asempa FM‘s Ultimate Sports Show on Monday, September 2, Owusu Bempah said Otto Addo, John Paintsil, and Fatawu Dauda should have visited the nearest hospital before flying back to Accra.

In his view, their health should have been their numbero ne priority before returning to Accra.

Mr. Owusu Bempah emphasized that, failing to seek immediate medical care could have future repercussions on their health.

Despite the accident, the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has assured that Otto Addo and his technical team will be ready for the upcoming 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers against Angola and Niger.

The team has already arrived at camp and is preparing for their first training session at the Accra Sports Stadium before departing for Kumasi on Tuesday.

Ghana is set to host Angola on September 5 at Baba Yara Stadium, followed by a match against Niger in Berkane on September 9, both part of the Group F qualifiers.

Arrest persons behind Agyapadie document – Owusu Bempah to IGP https://www.adomonline.com/arrest-persons-behind-agyapadie-document-owusu-bempah-to-igp/ Wed, 07 Aug 2024 10:56:34 +0000 https://www.adomonline.com/?p=2430220 The Deputy Director of Communications for the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Ernest Owusu Bempah, has called on the Inspector General of Police (IGP) to arrest those responsible for publishing the controversial ‘Agyapadie’ document.

He asserts that the document, which has sparked significant controversy, contains falsehoods and is part of a broader agenda to discredit the NPP government.

During a press conference on Monday, Mr. Bempah stated that the ‘Agyapadie’ document was filled with baseless accusations aimed at tarnishing the NPP’s reputation and undermining its leadership’s credibility.

He emphasized that such actions are not only politically motivated but also harmful to the nation’s democratic process and stability.

Mr. Bempah further argued that the dissemination of the document constitutes a criminal offense, as it seeks to incite public unrest and damage the government’s image without any factual basis.

He urged the IGP to take swift action to identify and apprehend those behind the publication, holding them accountable for their attempts to mislead the public.

He highlighted the importance of maintaining the integrity of the political process, noting that the spread of misinformation and defamatory content could erode public trust in democratic institutions.

Mr. Bempah also called on all political actors to engage in fair and respectful campaigning, focusing on issues and policies rather than resorting to smear tactics.

“As a country, we cannot look on for the NDC to always peddle brazen and wicked falsehoods and later turn around to say this is politics.”

“On this current issue, the publishers of Awake News must be subjected to the full rigours of the law to deter them from hiding behind social media to create confusion in the system.”

“The Inspector General of Police, Dr. George Akuffo Dampare, must urgently arrest the people behind the publication of this fictional document and bring them to face the full rigours of the law.”

Reacting to what they say is a strong-worded statement issued by the Islamic authority, the church has clarified that the said disparaging comment on the Dr Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharubutu was never made.

The church added that the “report was misleading and the content littered with falsehood”, clarifying that the said sermon from which the article was crafted was twisted and misrepresented.

According to the church, the report is a calculated attempt to disrupt the peaceful and cordial relationship between Rev Owusu Bempah and the National Chief Imam.

“We wish to state emphatically that Apostle Dr Isaac Owusu Bempah has not at any time claimed that the Chief Imam visits it consults him to look into his destiny. The publication was clearly actuated by malice, a desire for profit, sensationalism and calculated to disrupt the peaceful and cordial relationship between the Chief Imam and Apostle Dr Isaac Owusu Bempah,” the church’s response read in part.

However, the church added that it takes strong exception to the language of the official of the Chief Imam who described Owusu Bempah as a “charlatan on a pulpit”.

“We wish to put to record that as a church, we take serious exception to the description of our General Overseer as a Charlatan on the Pulpit among other distasteful words. We revere and hold our General Overseer in high esteem as much as we love and respect His Eminence the National Chief Imam”.

Among prominent pastors who have released their long lists of prophecies is the leader of the Glorious Word Power Ministries, Reverend Owusu Bempah.

His prophecies for 2023 were a mixed bag of caution, predictions and bountiful blessings for Ghana and some other countries.

While he announced that 2023 will witness countless marriages and financial prosperity for those that remain steadfast in the Lord, he also warned of coups and deaths of prominent individuals in Ghana.

Below are his prophecies for 2023:

  2. He warned that the world may experience another serious disease like COVID.

Pastor runs to Owusu Bempah to beg for forgiveness in tears [Video] https://www.adomonline.com/pastor-runs-to-owusu-bempah-to-beg-for-forgiveness-in-tears-video/ Wed, 14 Sep 2022 15:11:12 +0000 https://www.adomonline.com/?p=2162627 A self-professed pastor, known as Manasseh The Game Changer, has asked Reverend Isaac Owusu Bempah to forgive him after he publicly humiliated the man of God.

According to him, he was contracted by some unknown persons in Germany to churn out false stories about Rev Owusu Bempah to tarnish his image.

He noted that his actions were fuelled by a certain cabal, which includes a certain former fetish priestess.

In 2021, the founder and leader of Glorious Word and Power Ministries, Prophet Owusu Bempah, stood in front of his congregation to invoke curses on his adversaries using anointing oil.

He made it clear some of his subjects were against him, where he cursed them to suffer in life.

Fast-forward, one of them, Manasseh the Game Changer, has returned in tears asking for Reverend Owusu Bempah’s forgiveness.

After grabbing the microphone to urge the church members into a state of worship, he followed with a touching message to cement his regret.

He wept bitterly at the climax of his confession, until Prophet Owusu Bempah hugged him away from the podium.

The leader of the Church forgave him and described his gesture as a sign of maturity instead of weakness.

Mahama is luckiest person in Ghana politics – Owusu Bempah https://www.adomonline.com/mahama-is-luckiest-person-in-ghana-politics-owusu-bempah/ Fri, 06 May 2022 10:25:11 +0000 https://www.adomonline.com/?p=2111752 The Director of Communications at Ghana Gas Company Limited, Ernest Owusu Bempah, has said former President John Mahama is the luckiest man as far as political power is concerned.

According to him, though Mr Mahama lacked the requisite experience, he never struggled to get to the top of the political ladder, adding that he believes that has affected him until now.

According to him, even when Mr Mahama was Member of Parliament for Bole Bamboi from 1997 to 2009, on no occasion did he campaign.

Owusu Bempa claims Mr Mahama left his job for Alban Bagbin and the late former President, Jerry John Rawlings.

He told Osei Bonsu on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen show on Thursday that Mr Mahama was forced to become the Vice President of Ghana from January 2009 to July 2012 as he accepted the position under duress.

“Mahama is a fantastic gentleman but the point is that because he never struggled for power he didn’t understand how to handle political power. All the time he gets things on a silver platter, unlike others who struggled. He has been the luckiest person on this earth.

“You were a Vice President and the next day, you become a President, who gets that privilege if not Mahama,” he quizzed.

He, however, expressed shock as to why some NDC members still want him to lead their party in 2024.

As President Akufo-Addo concludes his final term in 2024, the opposition is expected to face off with whoever the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) will put forward as its new leader.

In the wake of numerous challenges plaguing the government including unemployment, an economic downturn and corruption, EIU believes these developments will fuel citizens’ sentiments against the ruling NPP administration.

They believe this situation will tilt the balance in the favour of the NDC.

Why Apostle Onyinah met Owusu Bempah – GPCC explains https://www.adomonline.com/why-apostle-onyinah-met-owusu-bempah-gpcc-explains/ Tue, 04 Jan 2022 08:15:24 +0000 https://www.adomonline.com/?p=2064211 The Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Council (GPCC) has dismissed some claims made by the founder and leader of the Glorious Word Power Ministry International, Prophet Isaac Owusu Bempah.

The prophet had claimed that the former Chairman of the GPCC, Apostle Opoku Onyinah, had consulted him for prophetic direction.

“A Pentecost pastor took me to his house to tell him about prophecies about himself but the same pastor, at a political conference, went to call out prophets and prophecies.

“Opoku Onyinah should be careful, you took me to your house to tell you about prophecies, you and Anyenim Boadu, what are you talking about. I would have exposed Opoku Onyinah but for my respect for Anyenim Boadu,” he said.

But the GPCC, in a two-page statement signed by its General Secretary, Rev Emmanuel Barrigah, has dismissed the claims.

National Cathedral Board Chairman

Explaining what transpired in a statement, the GPCC said a meeting was called by the National Executive Council of the Council in 2016 to discuss with Prophet Owusu Bempah about some of the death prophecies he had given involving notable personalities in the country.

At no point in time during the meeting did the Apostle Prof Opoku Onyinah seek any prophetic direction from Prophet Owusu Bempah, the statement said.

“The said meeting was at the behest of the National Executive Council of the Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Council in 2-16 to discuss with Prophet Owusu Bempah his utterances on some bishops in the media and his prophecies of the deaths of some notable members of the Ghana society.

“The Council wishes to emphasize with confirmation from Rt Rev Dr. Nana Anyanim Buadum that at no point in time during the meeting did the Apostle Prof Opoku Onyina seek any prophetic direction from Prophet Owusu Bempah,” the GCPP statement said.

Isaac Owusu Bempah’s case where he is alleged to have threatened to kill self-acclaimed fetish priestess-turned-evangelist, Patricia Oduro Koranteng, aka Nana Agradaa.

Police prosecutors have charged a radio presenter with Despite Media Group on accusation of conniving with Rev. Isaac Owusu Bempah over an alleged threat to kill self-acclaimed fetish priestess-turned-evangelist, Patricia Oduro Koranteng, aka Nana Agradaa.

The crime of “Ohenenana” Kwame Amoh (who is also a pastor at Rev Owusu Bempah’s church), according to the police was that he (Amoh) interviewed Rev Owusu Bempah, the General Overseer of the Glorious Word Power Ministry International, on the day of the said incident on social media.

“The seventh accused person (Kwame Amoh) according to the police went to the scene to interview the first accused (Rev Owusu Bempah) thereby instigating the other accused persons and others at large,” the prosecutor, Chief Inspector Denis Terkpetey, told the Accra Circuit Court.

Amended charge sheet

The prosecution amended the charge sheet on Wednesday and added four other accused persons to bring the total accused persons to seven in the case.

The seven appeared in court Wednesday.

Previously, it was Rev Owusu Bempah, Mensah Ofori (associate pastor of Rev Owusu Bempah) and Bright Berchie who were standing trial over the alleged threat to kill Nana Agradaa.

Kwame Amoh, the radio presenter (also an associate pastor), Nana Acheampong (movie producer), Nana Brown (blogger) and Kwabena Nyarko are the four new accused persons.

Not guilty

Rev. Owusu Bempah is on trial for allegedly leading and instigating his church members to issue threats to kill Nana Agradaa.

He has been charged with six others including Amoh.

The other accused persons are Mensah Ofori and Kwabena Nyarko, (associate pastors of Rev Owusu Bempah) Bright Berchie (church member), Nana Acheampong (movie producer) and Nana Brown (blogger).

At their appearance in court, all the accused persons pleaded not guilty to various counts of conspiracy, abetment, offensive conduct conducive to the breach of peace and threat of death.

The seven appeared in court after the police prosecution amended the charge sheet.

This is the third time police prosecutors have amended the charge sheet with the case travelling to three different circuit courts.

Aside from the alleged threat to kill Nana Agradaa, Rev. Owusu Bempah is also standing trial in a different Cicuit Court for allegedly inciting his church members to beat up three policemen who went to the church to arrest persons who had threatened to kill Nana Agradaa.

Three members of the church, Micheal Boateng, Frederick Ohene and Nathaniel Agyekum are also facing the law for allegedly taking part in the beating of the policemen and destroying a police vehicle.

Bail

Following a bail application by their counsel, Mr Gary Nimako Marfo, the court, presided over by Ms Evelyn Asamoah, granted bail in the sum of Ghc100, 000 with two sureties to each of the seven accused persons.

After securing bail for his client, counsel did not hide the displeasure about what he described as the checkered nature by which the prosecution was conducting the case.

This is the third time counsel had to seek bail for his client due to the amendments to the charge sheets by the prosecution.

Prosecution’s facts

Presenting the prosecution’s facts, Chief Inspector Terkpetey said on September 8, Rev. Owusu Bempah and 45 heavily built men went to Nana Agradaa’s house to attack her, with the men shouting: ‘We will kill you!!!’

He said Rev. Owusu Bempah instructed the men to bring Nana Agradaa out of the house and teach her a lesson.

The police, he said, rushed to the scene and prevented any potential bloodshed.

According to him, after the said incident, the police invited both Nana Agradaa and Rev. Owusu Bempah, but Rev. Owusu Bempah ignored the police invitation.

The prosecutor said on September 12, the police saw a viral video in which Ofori and two other members of the Glorious Word Power Ministry International were threatening to kill Nana Agradaa, for which reason they went to Dansoman and arrested Ofori, while other officers went to Rev. Owusu Bempah’s church to arrest the others.

“The first accused, on seeing the policemen, ordered his church members to beat and kill them. He further ordered the church members to march to the Dansoman Police Station to free those arrested.

“The church set upon the policemen and beat them up, amidst the firing of gunshots, disarmed the police of two service rifles and vandalised their car,” the prosecutor added.

NPP’s role in Owusu-Bempah’s arrest – Sammy Gyamfi drops bombshell https://www.adomonline.com/npps-role-in-owusu-bempahs-arrest-sammy-gyamfi-drops-bombshell/ Thu, 16 Sep 2021 00:35:35 +0000 https://www.adomonline.com/?p=2015842

National Communications Officer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Sammy Gyamfi, has alleged the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) is behind the public ridicule of controversial prophet, Rev. Isaac Owusu-Bempah.

He claimed the man of God has fallen out with the ruling party after he prophesied against Vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia’s chances ahead of the 2024 general election.

“Owusu-Bempah has prophesied that Bawumia will never be president that is why they are showing him his smoothness level,” Mr Gyamfi said in an interview on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen programme Wednesday.

The Akufo-Addo government has earned the praise of many including members of the NDC for allowing the rule of law to work following the arrest of his bosom friend, Rev. Owusu-Bempah.

Many, including pastors, pleaded with government and the police to temper justice with mercy and release him.

But Mr Gyamfi said the action of the police is just a smokescreen to punish Mr Owusu-Bempah for speaking the truth.

What broke the camel’s back, he started, was when the controversial prophet decided to defend John Mahama’s ‘do or die’ comment.

“As for the NPP, when it suits them, they will worship you, but when you fall-out with them, they will sacrifice you and betray you,” the NDC National Communications Officer stated.

Mr Gyamfi stated unequivocally that, the NDC “will not sit down and make this government take credit for something it did not do.”

The woes of embattled Founder and Leader of Glorious Word Power Ministries International, Reverend Isaac Owusu-Bempah, are far from over.

Though he was released on bail on Wednesday, September 15, 2021, he is expected to reappear before the Circuit Court on Monday, September 20, 2021.

His lawyer, Gary Nimako Marfo, disclosed this in an interview on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen programme Wednesday.

On Sunday, September 12, Rev. Owusu-Bempah and three others were arrested by the Police for issuing threats, brandishing weapons and attacking Police officers.

When he appeared in court on Monday, the popular prophet and other suspects pleaded not guilty to the charges against them.

He was remanded by an Accra Circuit court presided over by Justice Afia Owusuaa Appiah to enable the police to complete their investigations.

Days after this decision, his lawyer, Gary Nimako, took the case to the High Court which granted the embattled man of God bail.

Rev. Owusu-Bempah has been charged with offensive conduct conducive to the breach of peace and threat of death.

Pleased with the decision of the court, the lawyer said he will make his client available for the next sitting.

He added that the outcome of the case is an attestation that no one is bigger than the law.

He was rushed to hospital a few hours after an Accra Circuit Court hearing his case on Monday, September 13, denied him and three others bail.

Sources say Rev. Bempah is currently under strict surveillance. However, the cause of his illness is currently unknown by the media.

The controversial man of God has been charged with offensive conduct conducive to the breach of peace and threat of death.

On Sunday, September 12, Rev. Bempah and three others were arrested by the police for issuing threats, brandishing weapons and attacking Police officers.

When he made his appearance in court on Monday, the Leader of Glorious Word Power Ministries International and the other suspects pleaded not guilty to the charges against them.

Legal counsel for the suspects, Gary Nimako Marfo, therefore, urged the court to grant his clients bail.

The Prosecutor, Chief Inspector Dennis Terkpetey, opposed the petition noting that the defendants need to be remanded to facilitate ongoing investigations.

After hearing both parties, Judge Afia Owusuaa Appiah, who is presiding over the case, noted that the suspects could not be granted bail in order to enable the police to complete their investigations.

She further explained that the suspects were only arrested yesterday.

Meanwhile, the four suspects will appear before the court on September 20, 2021.

Rev Owusu Bempah defends Mahama’s ‘do or die’ comment [Audio] https://www.adomonline.com/rev-owusu-bempah-defends-mahamas-do-or-die-comment-audio/ Fri, 10 Sep 2021 18:42:05 +0000 https://www.adomonline.com/?p=2013661 The founder and leader of the Glorious Word and Power Ministries has defended former President John Mahama’s ‘do or die’ comment.

Rev. Isaac Owusu Bempah said his understanding of the idiomatic expression is that it’s not a call to violence.

“Even Kotoko and Hearts supporters say ‘do or die’ so I don’t believe Mahama meant any harm. Just as I defended ‘all die be die’, I don’t think ‘do or die’ is a call to violence, he told Accra-based radio station, Okay FM.

During his ‘Thank You’ tour of parts of Ghana, Mr Mahama reiterated his suspicion of Tuesday, September 7, that “we were clearly robbed, but we accepted the verdict for the sake of peace”.

“I want to state here that the next elections would be won or lost at the polling station. So at the polling station, it will be ‘do or die’. I am not saying ‘all die be die’. I’m saying it will be ‘do or die’ because the right thing must be done,” he told Techiman-based Akina FM.

Mr Mahama has been asked to apologise for the comment many believe is a call to violence but he has since insisted that ‘do or die’ is an idiomatic expression.

The ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) said recent utterances by the former President is an indication that he is “frustrated”.

But Rev Owusu Bempah, an avowed critic of the former President said the ‘do or die’ comment has been taken out of context.

Rather, he said Mr Mahama has indicated that he will not take things for granted at the polling station ahead of the 2024 general elections.

Rev. Owusu Bempah pleaded with Ghanaians not to chastise John Mahama for urging the grassroots of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

What Owusu Bempah did to me in my dreams – Bibi Bright recounts https://www.adomonline.com/what-owusu-bempah-did-to-me-in-my-dreams-bibi-bright-recounts/ Wed, 08 Sep 2021 15:49:56 +0000 https://www.adomonline.com/?p=2012061 Actress Bibi Bright has told an emotional tale of the turmoil she faced during her pregnancy and how Rev. Owusu Bempah appeared in her dreams.

The actress, who previously stated she almost died during childbirth, has opened up on fresh details of how she and her baby were saved after Rev. Bempah appeared in her dreams.

Though not a Christian but a religious person, she disclosed that she tested God to reveal himself to her through testimony, the only proof she said she needed to join Christianity.

She received a sign of the presence of God through her pregnancy after a revelation was made to her that she would not live long enough to welcome her third baby.

The revelation was made by Rev. Bempah when he visited her in her dreams and ordered her to come to look for him in the physical realm.

Narrating what Rev. Bempah did to her in her dreams in an interview with Franky 5 during the This Is Gospel show, the mother-of-three said:

“I had a dream and I saw Rev. Owusu Bempah asking me to come to look for him. I remember he took off my wristwatch, took off his, and put his watch on my hand.

“The first time he appeared in my dream was on Thursday but I couldn’t hear what he was saying. He appeared again on Saturday and this time I heard him saying I should come to look for him and I told him I haven’t taken my shower and he said it doesn’t matter, come and look for me.”

As scared as she was, she said she visited Rev. Bempah’s church with the aim of having a tete-a-tete with him, but he was not reachable.

She said her faith made her take a seat at the back row during the Sunday church service, and that was where she had her deliverance.

“I went to his church. After he was done preaching, he was just walking through the crowd. He looked at me, went back, looked at me again, went back; the third time, he looked at me and asked what dream I’ve had about him.

“He called me, I told him the dream and he said God loves me but I’m very stubborn. He told me my time is up; it is not a plot of anyone, but just my destiny to die young.

“The man has piercing eyes so I couldn’t look at him directly, I kept looking away. He ordered me to look straight into his eyes. He prayed fervently for me after he said God has permitted him to deliver me.”

Despite experiencing some situations that seemed as though she will come face to face with death, she sailed through, with the help of her mother and doctors.

“I couldn’t walk for three days, I was in town when it happened. They had to carry me like a bag of rice. All the doctor could tell me was the child had moved but I had spoken to Rev. Owusu Bempah and he had said nothing would happen to me. I actually gave birth with my mother lying on top of me,” she said.

Popular individuals and many others have used the hashtag to call on the government to attend to problems facing the country including the hike in fuel prices, poor education, health, infrastructure and ultimately the country’s economy.

The online protest has been trending for the past week on the micro-blogging platform Twitter.

The controversial politician, reacting to the campaign, said the noise being generated by them “is akin to drunken behaviour.”

Mr Bempah questioned what exactly these celebrities have fixed by themselves apart from their fake social media lifestyle and living on borrowed glory.

The comments generated backlash from the conveners and Ghanaians at large as the campaign intensifies.

However, in a new post on his Facebook page, he said he had taken a second look at his write up and admits he was harsh in his conclusion and choice of words.

Though he stated he is sorry and retracts the comment, he maintained there was nothing untruth about his earlier comments.

RELATED:

“This shouldn’t have been the case and I apologise to all those who may have been hurt by the piece. I’m sorry. I, therefore, retract the strong and uncomplimentary language used in the write up.

“Maybe the issues that I was so much concerned about will have been glossed over had I not engaged in some early conclusions,” part of the post read.

He said God abhors gays and will punish any country which legalises their abominable acts.

“This is a sin against generations and an abomination in the eyes of God. We will not allow this sin to engulf the country,” Prophet Owusu Bempah stated.

The founder and leader of the Glorious Way Church claimed God told him he will not forgive gays.

He made the comment while commending to the police for closure of an office, belonging to the LGBTQI community at Ashongman in Accra in the wake of public discourse over their operations.

Prophet Owusu Bempah maintained that their activities are alien to the Ghanaian culture and beliefs.

He said homosexuality is a sin God detests greatly therefore anyone who indulges in it loses the favour of God on their life.

“Just like Sodom And Gomorrah, God will not forgive gays” he said in an interview on Accra-based Atinka FM.

Gyan, while preaching the need for savings, said regular church offerings and tithe were a major waste in God’s sight, saying the way of righteousness is giving to the less-privileged in society.

The footballer said the lavish lifestyle adopted by most pastors was a clear mockery of the ‘not so financially stable’ members whose money finance the said pastors.

In a sharp rebuttal, however, Owusu Bempah said Gyan exhibited ignorance, quizzing if he played football for free.

He said just like every worker benefits from their talent, pastors should also enjoy from their God-given gift.

“Those who watch you at the stadium pay gate fees; not all of them are rich. Why have you not adopted the policy that poor people should watch you for free? Pastoral activity is a serious business. I preach, deliver and render other services.”

So my brother [Asamoah Gyan] when you see a pastor in an expensive car, don’t envy because no one envies you.”

That said, Owusu Bempah called on Asamoah Gyan to retract his statement, saying it was a ‘big mistake’.

However, unlike previous years, he failed to mention the names of those who will be directly affected by these prophecies.

He explained that recent hostilities and acts of mockery against prophets have made it necessary for him to avoid mentioning names.

Whiles Prophet Isaac Owusu Bempah has predicted the status quo will remain, Prophet Emmanuel Badu Kobi has said the verdict by the Electoral Commission (EC) will be overturned by the Supreme Court.

He told the congregation that Mr. Mahama is the rightful occupant of the presidential seat and will be handed a victory ruling by the Supreme Court.

“The Truth of Ghana’s election will come out and the rightful owner will take the seat”, he said during 31 service in his church.

But Prophet Owusu Bempah who hitherto was his [Kobi’s] spiritual father said John Mahama will lose the petition.

“God took me into the courtroom and I saw a paper with NDC written on it. The paper was being blown in the courtroom and fire from heaven to burn the paper. God told me Nana Addo is his choice and that the Supreme Court cannot change His mind and plan” he said.

He claimed, Mr Mahama will lose because God has destined Akufo-Addo to be president of Ghana again.

Reverend Isaac Owusu-Bempah, Founder and Leader of Glorious Word Power Ministry International

Prophet Owusu Bempah who is also the General Overseer of the Glorious Word and Power Ministry made the comment during the 31st night service.

Mr. Mahama’s petition against the Electoral Commission (EC) and President Akufo-Addo at the Supreme Court.

His lawyers argue that, the Presidential results as declared by the Electoral Commission Chairperson, Jean Mensa is flawed and ‘doesn’t represent the will of the people.’

But Prophet Owusu Bempah prophesied that:

“I saw the Supreme Court and a star sparkling on the Supreme Court. God took me into the courtroom and I saw a paper with NDC written on it. The paper was being blown in the courtroom and fire from heaven to burn the paper. God told me Nana Addo is his choice and that Supreme Court cannot change His mind and plan. So if NDC will listen to me, they shouldn’t go to court. They are going to waste money. I’m speaking under the authority of the Lord that nothing will come out of the election petition. The NDC should just listen to me and let go of that case” he stated.

Ahead of Ghana’s December 7, 2020 election, controversial Prophet, Isaac Owusu-Bempah made major predictions.

He was optimistic President Nana Akufo-Addo will be given a second time in office, stating he has unfinished business with Ghanaians.

Some 48 hours after the polls closed, the Electoral Commission Chairperson, Mrs Jean Mensa, described the elections as “incident-free” and “peaceful” declared President Akufo-Addo as the winner.

President Akufo-Addo won 6,730,413 representing 51.59% of the total valid votes while his major contender, Mr Mahama polled a total of 6,214,889 votes representing 47.36%.

The renowned man of God added that it was a fulfilled purpose of God.

Speaking in an interview on Accra-based Okay FM, monitored by Adomonline.com, on the turnout of events, he noted that President Akufo-Addo’s good works fulfilled God’s purpose for him.

He stressed God, aside the numerous prophecies, revealed the President’s victory to him again a few days to the election day.

ALSO READ:

“I was driving last week Wednesday when I saw Ghana’s flag in the sky with Akufo-Addo sitting on the throne surrounded by four angels. So I believe God’s prophecy has been fulfilled,” he said.

According to the man of God, but for some events that took place in the spiritual realm, the margin should have been much greater than what happened.

Owusu Bempah fined for ‘bonking’ a dog [Audio] https://www.adomonline.com/owusu-bempah-fined-for-bonking-dog-audio/ Tue, 17 Nov 2020 15:30:47 +0000 https://www.adomonline.com/?p=1881598 A 25-year-old Owusu Bempah, also known as Agbey, has faced the wrath of the Apatim Traditional Council for bestiality.

Mr Bempah was humiliated in the Wassa East District after reports were made by another resident, Kwaku Charles that he had been involved in a sexual ‘congress’ with a pregnant dog.

In an interview with Adom News‘ Serwaa Prempeh, a linguist of Apatim, Nana Ampomah Anokye, said he gave an immediate order for the messengers to drag him to the Council.

After a brief interrogation, Mr Bempah conceded to the obscene act which he said happened in the bush.

ALSO

According to Mr Anokye, having sex with a human being in the farm, forest, riverside or bush is a taboo in the community, let alone an animal.

For this, the Council reached a decision that Mr Bempah be fined GH¢ 500.00 for sacred rituals to purify him from any impending wrath of the gods as well serve as compensation.

That notwithstanding, owner of the dog is also demanding that Mr Bempah takes in the dog as a wife.

US election: Owusu Bempah defends prophecy [Video] https://www.adomonline.com/us-election-owusu-bempah-defends-prophecy-video/ Wed, 11 Nov 2020 15:23:17 +0000 https://www.adomonline.com/?p=1879311 Leader and Founder of the Glorious Word Power Ministries International, Rev Isaac Owusu Bempah, has stated that his prediction on the ‘hanging’ United States (US) elections still stands.

Rev Bempah has been described by some Ghanaians as fake because the political trend in the US elections did not exactly follow his prophecy of incumbent Donald Trump retaining his seat.

But, addressing the tag in a latest post-preaching service, he reiterated the declarations he made were not out of his own intuition.

He said God enlightened him “in spirit and in truth”, through some heavenly revelations, where he saw the key of the White House snatched from President Trump for “turning away from God.”

He added it is, however, unclear who Abraham and Watchers ( unique angels who are sent to carry out duties on earth) have settled on to lead America.

That said, he has called on the God of Heaven and earth to visit any individual who wants to touch ‘His anointed’.

Rev. Owusu Bempah reverses prediction on US elections https://www.adomonline.com/rev-owusu-bempah-reverses-prediction-on-us-elections/ Thu, 05 Nov 2020 17:02:31 +0000 https://www.adomonline.com/?p=1877184 Leader and Founder of the Glorious Word Power Ministries International, Prophet Isaac Owusu Bempah, has exposed his confusion on the spiritual decision for United States’ (US) president.

Months before the ongoing elections, Rev. Owusu Bempah declared President Donald Trump will retain his seat under the condition that he will not legalise homosexuality.

Having maintained his decision not to legalise what has been described as a human right issue, Rev. Owusu Bempah said God has made President Trump “president and physically and spiritually he’s still on that seat.”

However, the prediction seems to be far from reality as Joe Biden is leading President Trump comfortably in the polls which started yesterday, November 4.

Realizing the embarrassment that awaits him, the prophet granted a latest interview to declare Mr Biden the chosen one.

“Something has happened in the US elections and Abraham and his people have held a meeting. The outcome of that meeting did not go in Trump’s favour. It’s because Trump’s heart has turned away from God.

“So Abraham and his people have sent the decision from that meeting to the Watchers (Watchers are unique angels who are sent to carry out duties on earth). The Watchers have sent the decision to the Almighty God. A final meeting is being held over the decision as I speak to you,” he said on Okay FM.

He added that he saw the heavens open and the key to the Whitehouse was snatched from Mr Trump and returned to the Lord, who is yet to confirm Abraham’s decision.

This is the third time the prophet has predicted the future of the US.

Having said that, Rev. Owusu Bempah comforted himself that should his prophecy not come to pass, like Isaiah, it doesn’t make him a false prophet.

Rev Owusu Bempah reveals his true source of income [Video] https://www.adomonline.com/rev-owusu-bempah-reveals-his-true-source-of-income-video/ Tue, 27 Oct 2020 11:15:10 +0000 https://www.adomonline.com/?p=1873290 Reverend Isaac Owusu Bempah, Founder of Glorious Word Power Ministries International, has finally disclosed how he makes money to fend for himself and his family.

In one of his latest interviews, the man of God said since he is a pastor people expect him to depend on his offertories to survive, but that is not the case.

According to him, he gets many cash presents and recalled how he was offered huge sums when churches were asked to close down during the peak of the Covid-19 in Ghana.

MORE:

I don’t have any business. It’s only the church and in a week my expenses are more than the church’s offering.

I give away more things. When the churches closed down, I could get two billion and three billion a week.

People were giving it to me. So I don’t depend on people for money and I am not poor, he said in an interview on Neat FM.

Why Owusu Bempah wants EC to give him the money for 2020 elections https://www.adomonline.com/why-owusu-bempah-wants-ec-to-give-him-the-money-for-2020-elections/ Sat, 24 Oct 2020 10:40:54 +0000 https://www.adomonline.com/?p=1872036 Reverend Owusu Bempah has asked the Electoral Commission (EC) to give him the funds for the 2020 elections.

According to him, there is no need for the election because it has already happened in the spiritual realm where the incumbent President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo was declared the winner.

Per Owusu Bempah’s assertion on Accra-based Neat FM, the monies should rather be given to him to do the work of God and other philanthropic-based activities.

MORE:

Ghanaians have voted already in the spiritual realm. If they will agree we should not vote this year because If we vote 1,000 times Nana Addo will win, he said.

The money that EC will use, they should rather give it to me to do the work of God. EC should share the money for Ghanaians so we forget about it.

We are wasting money. I don’t hate National Democratic Congress but I want them to know the chain I saw tying John Mahama’s hands in 2016 means he cannot be president again, he said.

Donald Trump wants to speak with me – Rev Owusu Bempah [Video] https://www.adomonline.com/donald-trump-wants-to-speak-with-me-rev-owusu-bempah-video/ Fri, 23 Oct 2020 13:06:14 +0000 https://www.adomonline.com/?p=1871873 Controversial man of God, Reverend Isaac Owusu Bempah, says President of the United States of America (USA), Donald Trump wants to have a conversation with him after he prophesied about him.

According to the Founder of Glorious Word Power Ministries, one of his prophecies concerning the US elections was forwarded to Mr Trump and that has since sparked his interest to reach out to him.

Speaking on an Accra-based FM station, Neat FM, the pastor said his prophecy got to the First Man of America through Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams, the Founder and Leader of Action Chapel International in Ghana.

MORE:

Nicholas Duncan-Williams close friend is Trump. When I had the revelation I told him and he informed Trump. And my son and brother, Bishop Agyemang Prempeh also has Paula White as his very good friend and she is Trump’s spiritual mother so she advises Trump.

Trump listened to my prophecy and he wants to speak with me. He was surprised. They are working on it and praying around it. They are taking decisions too.

Recently he was praising Jesus. When the time comes we will talk and we have to support him because his win will fulfill the purpose of God, he said.

According to him, Mr Trump is destined to win the upcoming US elections but he might lose if he doesn’t sit up.

He explained that the ideologies of his biggest opponent, Joe Biden don’t tally with the word of God, hence he will lose to pave the way for Mr Trump to finish the race.

Leader of the Glorious Word Power Ministries International, Rev, Isaac Owusu Bempah has disclosed plans to sue Stacy Offei Darko’s mother for murder allegations.

Miss Darko died two years ago after a failed surgery, and her mother believes Rev Bempah and his ex-wife introduced her to the doctor who worked on her.

But, the church leader denied ever knowing the doctor or having any relation with the deceased except for a prophecy of doom he gave her; warning her not to proceed with her planned surgery.

Two years after her death and its related reports have died down, her mother in a throwback session interview reiterated Rev Bempah was allegedly involved.

She said aside the introduction to the doctor, the pastor is an occult who used her daughter’s blood for his demonic sacrifices.

But Rev. Bempah, in a latest interview with Adom FM, said he will drag the deceased’s mother to court to account for her murder and occultism claims.

“After listening to her radio interview, I called her to restore peace but she hurled insults at me and called me an occult. I want to report the issue to the police and drag her to court to respond to those claims because they have affected me ever since,” he said.

The late Deputy CEO of the National Entrepreneurship Innovation Program (NEIP) died after an alleged botch surgery at Advanced Body Sculpt Centre owned by Dr. Dominic Kwame Obeng-Andoh.

The deceased also had an 8-year-old daughter with Member of Parliament for Assin Central Kennedy Agyapong.

After her painful death, Stacy’s distraught mother claimed Rev. Owusu Bempah and his ex-wife introduced the deceased to Dr. Obeng-Andoh.

Nana Akosua Anima in an interview on Adom FM claimed the prophet has a lot of questions to answer about her daughter’s death.

In response, Rev. Owusu Bempah expressed shock at the claims by the woman.

He explained that, his only encounter with Stacy was when he warned her about her intended surgery since “it will lead to her death”.

But Rev. Owusu Bempah said he never led the deceased to any doctor for surgery.

“When I heard the allegations, I was shocked so I quickly called my ex-wife and she also denied the allegation. I saw her death in a vision and warned her not to do the surgery” he added.

When she died, Rev. Owusu Bempah said it was her mother who informed him therefore he is amazed the same person is accusing him.

Reports indicate the fire started around 2:30 am on Friday.

Four fire tenders from Amasaman, Kotoku, Nsawam, and Abelemkpe were brought in to quench the fire and provide security.

The video captured the Leader of the Glorious Word and Power Ministry predicting the incident during a sermon in his church.

“I saw a fire outbreak at the EC’s office and I beg of Ghanaians we should not take this revelation lightly at all. The protection of the EC’s Chairperson, Mrs Jean Mensa and Deputy, Dr Bossman Asare must be intensified,” he said.

Though he was not emphatic about which of the offices he said it was going to happen after the voters’ registration exercise.

“God opened my eyes to see the building in flames and I have seen this twice. Ghanaians please listen to me and don’t joke with what I have said.

“After they finish compiling the new voters register the protection must be very strong and even before the register is compiled security at the premises must be tight,” he added.

Meanwhile, the Accra Regional Police Command has begun an investigation into the cause of the fire which the EC explains would not affect the 2020 elections.

Arrest of Apostle Agyei: Sign of intolerance and totalitarianism – Sammy Gyamfi https://www.adomonline.com/arrest-of-apostle-agyei-sign-of-intolerance-and-totalitarianism-sammy-gyamfi/ Wed, 10 Jun 2020 12:20:16 +0000 https://www.adomonline.com/?p=1808713 National Communications Officer for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Sammy Gyamfi has aired his dissatisfaction about the arrest of Apostle Kwabena Owusu Agyei.

The Apostle was arrested on Tuesday morning while he was granting a media interview for comments made against President Akufo-Addo and Electoral Commissioner, Mrs Jean Mensa.

According to Mr Gyamfi, he is at lost as to the sudden arrest and remand of Mr Owusu Agyei when Rev Owusu Bempah who prior to the 2016 general election had said the then boss of the Electoral Commission, Charlotte Osei, would die if she declared Mr Mahama president.

He also questioned why the same treatment was not meted out to the regional chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for Bono Region, Abronye DC when he was on record to have said on live radio that, Mr Mahama was behind the death of the late president, John Evans Atta Mills.

READ ALSO:

To him, the sudden arrest and remand of Apostle Kwabena Agyei affirms assertions of President Akufo-Addo’s intolerance and totalitarianism.

I will say that it is President Akufo-Addo that has arrested the man because he is the head of the National Security Council. He had Apostle Agyei arrested just because the man insulted him [Akufo-Addo], he said on Adom FM’s Dwaso Nsem morning show on Wednesday.

We are not justifying what Apostle Agyei did but let me ask: is he the only person to have insulted a president in this country? Don’t some even use harsher words? What insults and allegations haven’t Owusu Bempah and Abronye DC rained on Mr Mahama, he quizzed.

Reacting to comments made by critics, Rev Owusu-Bempah said God will not listen to the prayers of some of the “less anointed men of God” who prayed with the President at the Jubilee House.

Rev Owusu-Bempah, despite his open and fanatic support for the President, failed to make the list of renowned men and women of God chosen by the President to intercede for the nation following the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic in the country.

His unexpected absence attracted trolls on social media, with many insisting that he did not meet the level of anointing and exemplary conduct to have been invited to the prayer session.

But Rev. Owusu-Bempah, known for controversial pronouncements, hit back revealing that God will pay no heed to some of the men of God who prayed with the President for the country.

“No one should say I am not on the same level with those men of God. I’m more anointed than some of them. I became a pastor before some of them were called by God. I respect some of the men of God invited to the meeting but not all. It is only a few of them who will have their prayers listened to by God,” he evealed.

Owusu Bempah appeared in my dream to save me, my daughter – Bibi Bright [Video] https://www.adomonline.com/owusu-bempah-appeared-in-my-dream-to-save-me-my-daughter-bibi-bright-video/ Mon, 24 Feb 2020 14:00:14 +0000 https://www.adomonline.com/?p=1756609 Actress Bibi Bright says if not for popular Reverend Owusu Bempah of the Glorious Word Power Ministry International, she would have kicked the bucket.

Narrating her ordeal in an interview with Zionfelix, the actress said her last experience with childbirth got her scared.

She said two months to giving birth in 2019, she saw the man of God in her dreams but she could hardly hear what he told her.

She said days later, she had a similar dream where Rev. Bempah was swapping his watch with her own and telling her to visit him in his church.

“I have three girls but I am reconsidering giving birth again. I almost died and it’s more spiritual so I got scared,” she said.

Describing her recent child delivery as “a whole different game”, Bibi said there were moments where she had to cough up blood prior to her delivery.

“I saw Owusu Bempah telling me something in a dream but I didn’t hear so I woke up and told my husband about it. I didn’t make anything out of it because I didn’t hear what he was telling me.

“So I dreamt again and he took out my wrist watch and gave me his. It was a silver and gold watch. When he was giving it to me, he told me to come look for him and I woke up,” she recounted.

Bibi disclosed that she hurriedly left for Rev. Bempah’s church with her husband and that was how she got delivered spiritually.

MORE STORIES:

According to her, Rev. Bempah made her aware her time on earth was up, hence she had to die to fulfill her destiny if not for God’s special love for her.

“I was supposed to die with my daughter. My husband and I shed tears so much after Rev, Bempah’s revelation. I come from a royal home and I was supposed to die to pacify gods in my family’s lineage,” she explained.

She said she had never spoken or visited Rev Bempah prior to seeing him in the dream that called for the union.

“Even after I had delivered my placenta was refusing to come out at Marina Hospital. It took about 40 to one hour; I gave birth standing up so I couldn’t lie down. The pain I was going through was unbearable.

“I don’t know why God brought Rev Bempah into my dream. If not, I would just die. We have thanked God and prayed. I’m not joking with my life anymore. Each day I want to use it to praise God’s name and gift of life.

“I guess people speak against him [Owusu Bempah]. But I wouldn’t speak against him; People insult him but through him God saved me,” she concluded.

A year on, Bibi has taken to her Instagram page to thank Rev Bempah for saving her life.

General Overseer and Founder of Glorious Word Power Ministry International, Rev Isaac Owusu Bempah has requested that his colleague prophet, Dr Kofi Oduro apologises to all prophets in Ghana.

The request comes on the back of Prophet Oduro’s description of prophets who prophesied about Ghana’s impending 2020 elections as jokers and foolish.

Dr Oduro had said in his criticism of such prophecies that the prophets behind them were liars who were making mockery of God.

Those words didn’t go down well with some of the prophets, especially Owusu Bempah who has since expressed anger at Prophet Oduro.

Speaking on Adom TV’s morning show, Badwam, an obviously furious Owusu Bempah asked Prophet Oduro to apologise to him and his colleagues or he gets him ‘exposed’.

Owusu Bempah described Prophet Oduro as a small boy who should concentrate on his job and stop attacking people like him.

According to Rev. Bempah, Prophet Oduro doesn’t know anything about holiness and is therefore not in any position to comment on same, describing his description of him and the others as baseless.

“The Assemblies of God pastor told me that he wants me to greet Mahama and Mahama himself had requested I come to greet him,” the pastor said.

“You see the foolish people we have in this country called Ghana… some Ghanaians are stupid and fools, they don’t think when they sleep,” the man of God added, in his sermon to his congregation on Sunday.

He explained that if he had passed by without even waving at the former President, these same Ghanaians will tell me I did not respect the former President John Dramani Mahama and I am too-known.”

The controversial man of God indicated that his prophecy about an ex-president doing all that he could to eliminate some notable people just because of his re-election did not come because he was prevented by some loyalist of John Mahama to exchange pleasantries with him.

“I was able to prophesy when he [Mahama] was president…I was able to say that he has soiled his hands with blood during the time he was president and not now that he is an ex that I should be afraid of him,” Rev Owusu Bempah emphasized.

Background

There was a little scuffle between the entourage of the former President John Mahama and Rev. Owusu Bempah at the South Odorkor Assemblies of God Church when the later was approaching the former President to exchange pleasantries with him.

After about five minutes of disruption, calm was restored and the man of God had the chance to shake hands with the former president.

Amongst the dignitaries present were Sammi Awuku, National Organizer of the NPP; Hon. Joe Appiah, former MP for Ablekuma North, Rev. Dr Sam Ato Bentil, the General Treasurer of the Assemblies of God Church, Ghana, as well as the Regional Superintendent and district pastors of the Assemblies of God Church in the Greater Accra Region.

Mahama was at the church with the constituency executive of Ablekuma North and the Parliamentary Candidate of the NDC in the Ablekuma North Constituency.
