A pro-New Patriotic Party (NPP) vigilante group in the Northern Region, the Kandahar Boys have reportedly attacked the Chief Executive Officer of the Tamale Teaching hospital, David Zaawumya Kolbila after they stormed the hospital.

The incident according to Adom News’ Illiasu Abdul Rauf occurred Monday morning.

He said the CEO’s office has been locked and the key taken away by the irate group who accuses him of incompetence.

The Kandahar boys, Illiasu said took the action because residents of Tamale are displeased with the management style of Dr. Kolbila.

The Police have arrived on the scene to ensure calm but no arrest has been made.
