The internet troll who goes by the name Helina Clottey told eShun she couldn’t compare herself to MzVee when it comes to fame and beauty.

She went ahead to say eShun should detach the “Queen” she has added to her name because she is not worth it.

But eShun surprisingly handled the troll on a peaceful note. She wrote: Unfortunately, some people might hate you for no reason. Well, in a handful of nuts, there could be a bad nut. We can only take it lightly regardless.

Stephen Mensah said he created that page and all other social media handles and invested his money to grow the followers for eShun.

According to him, eShun would only get that page back if she pays GH¢120,000 for it.

Speaking to George Quaye on Showbiz A-Z, Mr Mensah said eShun has not shown any interest in retrieving the accounts.

He disclosed that he has, therefore, contacted Instagram to change the account holder to Naana Blu.

Sultry singer Naana Blu went viral last year with her cover of Kofi Kinaata’s ‘Things Falls Apart’.

Prior to the change, the manager has already posted Naana Blu’s content on the page after clearing eShun’s.

“Maybe on hindsight I should have waited till the change had been effected. Even with that I would talk to the teams and discuss,” he said.

The duo never signed a penned contract but in one of eShun’s latest revelation she said Stephen Mensah wanted to take $20,000 dollars from her before he’d let her have access to her original accounts after they parted ways as lovers.

The ‘Akyea’ singer made this revelation moments after Mr Mensah made the public aware in an interview on Daybreak Hitz, monitored by Adomonline.com, that he truly wanted to take money from her for setting her up on social media prior to her fame.

But reacting to this, eShun confirmed his statement only that she revealed the amount he wanted to take from her, which she claimed she never had.

According to eShun, Mr Mensah handled her financial dealings, hence she had no say in her income flow.

It is a fact that I told him to give it to me and he told me he will take GH₵ 120,000 Cedis before he will give me the handles and that’s why I told him I don’t want it anymore.

So I told him to take it on a condition that he will take the account down or change the name. I know he doesn’t have respect for women. It is my father’s name so you can change it to any other name you want.

I also promoted your shows in lot of ways but I am not asking you to pay me. I want you to know that you can take phone to beg people not to support me but Ghanaians are discerning enough to know the truth. I will get all the support I need.

According to Stephen Mensah, he asked the female singer to pay him as a manager before giving out her social media accounts because there were his personal property and he was also in debt.

Explaining himself, Mr Mensah said he created a new account prior to meeting eShun, hence as an artiste manager when eShun made it clear that she wanted out in May 2019, he asked her to share some costs with her.

Additionally, Mr Mensah said he paid $200 dollars monthly to manage her social media accounts, hence it was only apt that the ‘Akyea’ hitmaker paid some money to release everything for her including her digital streams channel.

After parting ways, she wanted to have access to her social media accounts. I told her she is aware that I owe some people and I asked her if she would be able to share the costs with me.

So we had a meeting in the presence of my director. The next thing was that GHAMRO emailed me saying eShun has reported me so we had a meeting scheduled up.

So I met the GHAMRO executives and her road manager, BKay. In the meeting, I explained the issue saying its my product. If you work at a company and you leave, the company can tell you to pay something and carry or you leave it behind.

The conclusion was that I should send the cost that I think she can pay so she could carry her social media and digital stream platforms so I sent the bill and she said she is not interested and I should delete all her account.

She later told me to delete everything in January 2020. She sent me a message to delete and I complied. It was work. I was spending almost 200 dollars every month. And I am currently in debt. And it’s not only me.. it’s myself and my team members.

I wanted to let it go, but I felt I could change the username and use it to promote another brand. I agree that it might incur haters. And I have taken the due measures to make sure that doesn’t happen, Mr Mensah told Andy Dosty.

According to her, some women condone abusive men because of their children, which shouldn’t be the case.

I had two options; endure or leave. Some women stay in abusive relationships, especially because of their children, sometimes because of what others will say. Then we die. I opted to leave.

eShun has been in the news after she ‘exposed’ her ex-manager and lover, Mr Stephen Mensah, for allegedly abusing her.

According to her, he told her a pastor informed him about seeing a vision where eShun had crashed to death for disobeying God’s command by not sticking with him.

She said the statement really got her frightened because she had already made the decision to part ways with him.

He said a pastor told him that I will die like Ebony because there is an evil spirit from my mum’s side following me so I don’t have to leave him.

So I told him that if there is a demon, then it is him. It was that bad. I asked him what he is talking about and when I turned around he said he had played his part.

He hit it again that if I leave and die it’s my fault, she explained.

The singer in her latest interview with blogger Zionfelix, said she had to come out and let the public know the truth because she was suffering and wanted to leave everything behind her.

eShun mentioned in an interview her career was almost ruined by her ex-manager who was her fiance.

She also alleged she did not receive any penny from their dealings, adding her social media accounts were taken from her.

To eShun, since her ex-manager was the man of the house, she had no problem leaving him to her finances but only realised her mistakes after their relationship ended on a sour note.

However, reacting to eShun’s claim he took her social media accounts from her, ex-manager Stephen Mensah, explained he negotiated with the singer but she failed to play her part of the bargain.

“When I met eShun in 2015, I had to create an account I could handle for her. I did all the work, branded the page and invested $200 per month on her Instagram account alone.

“I gave her access to the Instagram page I created to manage her upon her request, I also demanded she paid something so I could use to defray some costs I incurred managing her but things didn’t go well,” he added.

Mr Mensah, in an interview with Happy FM, said posterity will reveal who the real culprit is.

“It is one of the casualties that happen in life. What do I do? Do I come and put the real issues out there, what will it do? Am I happy about the kind of things she said about me; no. So I will leave it to posterity. I believe in the God I serve and nature should deal with me,” he said painfully.

Singer eShun has been in the news for exposing her ex-manager, Stephen Mensah, who she claims maltreated and abused her to the core in their past relationship.

According to her, she opted out of the relationship for many reasons such as emotional torture and lack of affection but what scared her the most was when she realised her fiance was allegedly using pastors against her.

Narrating her ordeal to blogger Zionfelix, the Someone Loves Me hitmaker said anytime he had issues with his ex-manager, he would contract pastors to start messaging her on Facebook.

She continued that, all these pastors told her she was to be submissive to him because he was the destined husband for him.

It got to a point it was so bad I wanted to leave but I was stuck because he will blackmail you and have people call you.

I got a message from Facebook from one man claiming to be a prophet. He took my number and told me to take ‘my husband’ as he is, adding that, he will lead me to the promised land.

All the messages addressed me as Madam Ethel and that even got me more scared because no one knew about it. I showed it to him and we were not married yet.

I wanted out but I had to get to my promised land so I was enduring. He abused me and told me I am nothing and I haven’t done anything for him; I am a school drop-out. He body-shamed me. I wouldn’t lie…

Additionally eShun disclosed that she found out later that the pastor was the cousin to her husband-to-be.

It was later that I found out that he was conniving with the said pastor. The pastor confessed to me that he was a cousin to my fiancé where he opened up much about his family. That was the point I knew my prayers weren’t in vain.

All these things happened but you can’t move because he puts fear in me and I was stuck emotionally and psychologically, she said.

According to her, she has tried many years to reach him but all to no avail.

She mentioned close friends, family and even some people in his management team who have tried to get Sarkodie to feature on a song, but to avail.

To eShun, Sarkodie is a dope rapper and she believes “having you on a song will be fire to fire.”

Countless number of people from the music fraternity, the arts industry, members of the general public, were there in their numbers to say bye to the high life legend.

As people file past the casket, not a lot of tears are shed nonetheless, perhaps an indication of a full life well lived by Paapa Yankson.

He will be remembered for contributing to the edification of souls with his voice and his music especially his impact on the current crop of new artistes in our music scene.

‘I am sad I couldn’t have an opportunity to work with him or make an acquaintance with him. The last time I saw him was at the VGMA’s this year. He pulled an amazing performance though in a wheel chair and said he was gonna do his last album but that couldn’t happen sadly.’ eShun shared sorrowful.

eShun mounted the stage with Veteran Musician Paulina Oduro and performed Papa Yankson’s ‘Tena Mekyen’ with Bessa Simone playing the Keyboard and Dan aka Shabo playing the Bass Guitar.

‘I couldn’t go cos I think he wasn’t my age mate. If it was a new artiste, I’m sure I would have been present,’ B4Bonah said when George Quaye asked him on Pundit on GHOne.

Some of the known faces at the funeral includes : President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo; Catherine Afeku, Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture; Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) president, Bice Osei Kuffour (Obour); past President Sidiku Buari, Asiedu Nketia of the National Democratic Party (NDC) and Ahuma Bosco Ocansey (Daddy Bosco), an administrator at MUSIGA.

Some musicians at the event includes: Pat Thomas,Nana Fynn, Rex Omar, Yaw Sarpong, Daughters of Glorious Jesus,Abrantie Amakye Dede,Bessa Simone, AB Crentsil and others.

The late Paapa Yankson passed away after a short illness on July 21, 2017. He was 78.

On the day of the funeral, it was discussed on Peace 104.3 Fm’s entertainment show dubbed Entertainment review that, apart from Kofi Kinaata, no other young artiste was spotted at the funeral ground. The information that the young artistes didn’t show up was not entirely true. Aside Kofi Kinaata, High life musicians: eShun, Yaw Stone, Assanqoma and many others were also there to pay last respect to the legend.

This year’s edition of the music show will take place at the Banquet Hall State House in Accra with music legends like Daddy Lumba, Amakye Dede and others.

Performing on major platforms with legends has been eShun’s Hallmark since her arrival on the music scene. The talented young lady has not faced any roadblocks in establishing a strong image in the Ghanaian music industry.

She has calved a niche for herself making her a recognized Brand to be associated with music legends in Africa. eShun is set to thrill the audience with her soothing voice and classic songs like: Meye, Simple as ABC and others coming this Saturday with Ackah Blay’s band.

eShun is expected to perform one of the Late Papa Yankson songs in memorable of the late African Music Legend.

Kanda Bongo Man is expected to mount the stage of African Legends Night alongside other Ghanaian music legends to thrill audience to some of his popular songs from his celebrated albums of Kwassa Kwassa, Amour Fou among others.

Last year, the show witnessed great performances from Yvonne Chaka Chaka who collaborated with her ‘daughters’ Becca, Wiyaala and eShun on stage and was spiced up by the robotic Akosua Agyapong, the Kpanlogo man Amandzeba Nat Brew and the smooth taker Nana Tuffuor.

On their official twitter page, the main sponsor of the event, Vodafone Ghana tweeted, “Your performance was awesome last year! We can’t wait to have you this year.”

Over the years, African Legends Night has celebrated musical icons. Notable performers include South Africa’s legend and first headliner Hugh Masekela, Femi Kuti, Freddy Meiway, Gyedu Blay Ambulley, Amakye Dede, Ghanaian ace Saxophonist Steve Bedi, Ben Brako as well as a blend of artistes across Africa.

eShun blew the expectations of many at the event and affirmed the reasoning of the organizers making her the headline performer for the maiden edition of the event dubbed ‘Benya Afritua Street Carnival’.

The delectable eShun was filled with energy as she climbed the stage of the Benya Afritua Street Carnival earning herself the first huge applause from the audience. She got the whole crowd going gaga when she started rapping the verse in her ‘Simple As ABC’ song to the admiration of the crowd.

The singer performed a medley of some of her hits including “Meye,” “Fakye,” and her trending New Hit Song “Simple As ABC.” She danced beautifully in her green African Design Top with a cool jean. At the end of her high-energy performance the crowd stood and cheered loudly.

The night saw performances by Galaway Afro Singer Feli Nuna, who dazzled the audience with her sexy moves and popular songs, ‘PapaBi’ Hit group Gallaxy, Boggy Wednesday, Jungo and the top ranked male artiste in Cape Coast Orkortor Perry.

The event started at the end of the Orange Friday Carnival which was characterized by huge number of people on the street wearing orange colored dresses which has become a regular feature to the Cape Coast Fetu Afehye. The show was successfully Emceed by Dj Bounce and Dj Wayas.
