The Local Organizing Committee (LOC) of the 2018 Africa Women Cup of Nations will on Tuesday 28th November travel to Cape Coast to inspect the facility which will be used to host the tournament come next year.
This inspection is ahead of CAF’s mandatory inspection scheduled for 2nd December,2017.
Ghana’s delegation will be led by Hon Kwadwo Baah Agyemang (Chairman of the National Sports Authority) and Madam Leanier Addy(Chair Person of the Women’s League Board).
The LOC headed by Freda Prempeh are tasked to host and win the tournament on home soil by the Minister of Youth and Sports.
Ghana will seek to grab one of the three slots for Africa to participate in the 2019 FIFA World Cup tournament set to be staged France.
