Former school feeding caterers are threatening a naked demonstration against government over unpaid arrears for their services despite assurances that payments have started.
More than 2000 caterers in the Brong Ahafo region claim they have not received monies due them and are ready to conduct a naked demonstration if that is what will push government to settle their monies.
After the Akufo-Addo government took over, caterers perceived to be members of the opposition party lost their job and their positions offered to alleged NPP cronies.
But the angry women want their monies paid within a week or face their wrath.
Adom News’ Kooforoi Bosu Denkye in an interview with the leader of the caterers, Deborah Narh said they have therefore given the government a week to pay their arrears or they will embark on a naked demonstration.

Meanwhile, Head of Public Relation at the School Feeding Program, Alfa Siba is appealing to the women to be patient.
According to him, their monies are being paid in tranches and will soon settle all the women.
