Former Ghana international and Africa Footballer of the year award winner Abdul Razak has declared his intentions to secure the Black Stars Coaching job.
 
The former Kotoko Coach is eager to grab the vacant position at the National team.

The Ghana Football Association will begin the search for a new Coach for the Black Stars before the team’s World Cup qualifier against Congo in August this year.

Razak who nicknamed “Golden Boy” during his playing days led Kotoko to win the Ghana Premier League in 2004 as a Coach.

“When I was a player, I wanted to play to the highest level and win the Africa Cup of Nations, I was able to do that and also won the Africa best as well,” he said on OTEC FM.

“As a Coach I led Kotoko to win the League title and I believe I can lead the Black Stars to the Cup of Nations, who knows, I have the believe and I know I can do that.”

The Ghanaian trainer also Coached Malian Club Stade Malian to win the League title in Mali.

Ghana Coach Avram Grant left his job after failing to help the team win the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon.
