New Patriotic Party (NPP)’s Parliamentary Candidate for Kpone Katamanso in the Greater Accra Region, Hopeson Adorye, has served notice of his intention to join residents planning to embark on a demonstration to register their displeasure over bad roads.

According to Mr Adorye, the nature of roads in his area are terrible and worrying and needs to be fixed because even Land Cruisers cannot use the roads in the constituency.

“I seriously don’t understand why there are machines meant to construct roads but are all faulty. I hear residents in my area want to embark on demonstration, trust me, I will join them to demonstrate because that is why I want to become an MP,” he said.

Mr Adorye served the notice on Adom FM’s morning show, Dwaso Nsem Monday, noting that the roads have developed huge potholes that can be likened to valleys.

Salon cars, he said, in an attempt to use the road have muddy water in the wide holes covering almost up to their door levels.

Adom FM has been running a campaign aimed at addressing issues concerning the ever-deteriorating nature of roads in Ghana.

Already, some reporters of Adom FM as part of the new campaign dubbed ‘My Road, My Vote’ have gone on the grounds to give distressing accounts of the nature of some major roads in the country.
