The External Affairs Office of University of Media, Arts and Communication (UniMAC), led by Alex Kobina Stonne, popularly known as Kobby Stonne, has donated packs of bottled water, assorted drinks, toiletries, gari mix, and a cash amount of GH¢1,000 to the university’s sports team competing in the ongoing Mini GUSA Games at University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA).
The donation followed UniMAC’s impressive 3-1 victory in their second football match of the competition after suffering defeat in their opening game.

The gesture is expected to serve as a morale booster for the players and the entire UniMAC contingent as the competition progresses.
Speaking during a brief presentation ceremony on Friday, May 8, 2026, Kobby Stonne stated that the donation forms part of the External Affairs Office’s commitment to supporting student welfare and sports development within the university.
According to him, sports continue to play a vital role in promoting the image of UniMAC and therefore deserve the necessary support and encouragement.
“Go out there, stay focused, believe in your training, and continue making UniMAC proud,” he charged the players.

Kobby Stonne was accompanied by members of his office, including spokesperson Titus Owusu Darko, Secretary Precious Akos Agrobesa, and Treasurer Enyam Faith.
The team interacted with players and reaffirmed the SRC External Affairs Office’s commitment to supporting student activities and sports excellence.
Players and members of the technical team expressed appreciation for the timely intervention and encouragement.
UniMAC athletes are currently competing in football, volleyball, and athletics at the ongoing Mini GUSA Games, with hopes of excelling in all disciplines and strengthening the university’s reputation in tertiary sports.
