The Embassy of Ghana in Doha has called on Ghanaian nationals residing in Doha to remain indoors and seek immediate shelter until further notice amid rising regional tensions.
In a statement released on February 28, 2026, the mission referenced a missile strike and its reported impact within the Qatari capital as the reason for the precautionary alert.
Citizens have been advised to follow verified and official communication channels for accurate updates.
The notice specifically urged Ghanaians to avoid military installations, stay away from crowded public spaces, and limit unnecessary movement.
“Due to missile attack and its impact in Doha, please take shelter until further notice and obtain information from official sources,” the notice stated.
Residents have also been encouraged to keep essential items, including medication, food, and other emergency supplies, within easy reach.
The advisory comes as security concerns escalate in Qatar, prompting heightened vigilance across diplomatic missions in the area.
