Italian Serie A side Atalanta is reportedly close to signing Ghanaian international Kamaldeen Sulemana this summer.
The 2023/24 UEFA Europa League champions have initiated talks with his current club in the English Championship and are expected to table an offer in the region of €17 million for the 23-year-old winger.
Should the deal be finalized, Kamaldeen will reunite with his former coach, Ivan Juric. The pair previously worked together at Southampton during the 2024/25 season.
Under Juric’s guidance, Kamaldeen featured in 26 Premier League games, starting 17 and averaging 55 minutes per match. He contributed one goal and one assist during that campaign.
With transfer speculation mounting around his future in England, a move to Italy now appears increasingly likely for the highly-rated winger.
