Ghanaian rappers, Sarkodie and M.anifest who were lyrically at each other’s throat, have now smoked the peace pipe at Joy FM on Friday.

Manifest who is promoting his upcoming “Manifestivities” concert scheduled to happen at the Bukom Arena on Sunday, was exiting the Multimedia premises when he met his supposed rival, Sarkodie who was about getting out his car for an interview on the same platform to promote his Rapperholic concert slated for December 25, at AICC.

The duo gave each other a friendly handshake, exchanged pleasantries before parting ways.

The meeting comes on the back of the two acts shaking up the nation
in 2016 with one of the biggest rap wars the country has ever witnessed.

The rap war was sparked by M.anifest when he released his “godMC” track and took digs at Sarkodie.

Others, however, believe the war was ignited by Sarkodie when he released his “Bossy” song because in the said track he took a swipe at most rappers and asked why they will talk of rappers and leave him out.

Sarkodie quickly replied M.anifest in his freestyle ‘Kanta’ track which had the beats of American rapper Desiigner’s “Panda” song.

Their beef songs trended on social media for several weeks and generated a lot of public debate.

It is unclear if the discussions they had today would lead to a collaboration in the future after their “Bars” song leaked last year.
