The body of Michael Esiamah, the 16- year -old school boy who drowned in an abandoned stone quarry pit at Fetteh Kakraba, has been found.

The recovery of the body follows long hours of search by a community search party team after he drowned on Thursday.

According to some of the swimmers who helped in retrieving the body, the boy’s corpse was found after the Traditional Council of Fetteh Kakraba performed rituals.

 Meanwhile, the Awutu Breku Police Station Officer, Chief Inspector Stephen Tamaklo, said the body has been sent to the Winneba Trauma and Specialist Hospital.

The victim, Michael Essiamah, was part of a group of school pupils who went to swim in the pit when the unfortunate incident happened.
