Black Stars midfielder Daniel-Kofi Kyereh has praised teammate Thomas Partey, describing the Ghana international as an exceptional talent.
Kyereh, who previously shared the national team setup with Partey during the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations and the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, said both tournaments ended in group-stage exits for Ghana.
Speaking to Joy Sports, the Freiburg midfielder revisited his experiences with the Black Stars and highlighted the quality of players he has worked with at the international level.
Among them, he reserved special admiration for Partey, who currently plays for Villarreal.
“It’s a pleasure to play with him (Thomas Partey),” he said.
“I always saw him as a really good player on television before I met him in the national team, but when I was training with him, I saw his quality from another angle, and he’s so good.
“What a player?! What an amazing player!”
Kyereh has recently been featuring for Freiburg’s U23 side as he works his way back to full fitness and aims to return to regular first-team football.
