Medeama SC head coach Ibrahim Tanko has lauded his players following their emphatic 4-0 victory over Vision FC on Friday night at the TNA Park.
The result marked a second consecutive win for the Yellow and Mauves, who now sit at the summit of the Ghana Premier League table with six points from two matches.
“Today we did everything right and we have our three points,” Tanko said after the match.
“But we have to concentrate throughout the 90 minutes. At some point, we dropped energy, and it’s not good.”
While delighted with their perfect start to the 2025/26 campaign, the Medeama boss emphasized the need for consistency as the season progresses.
“We have to continue working hard because the season is still young,” he noted. “I said it at the beginning of the season: we are one of the teams that can win the league, but we have a lot of work to do.”
Medeama will be aiming to extend their fine form when they face Karela United in their Matchday 3 fixture at the Aliu Mahama Stadium next weekend.
