A bus conveying level 400 students of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has been involved in an accident.
The incident occurred in the early hours of Saturday, February 3, 2024.
The students are with the KNUST Obuasi campus’ department of Civil Engineering who were on their way to a field trip.
The incident was confirmed on Voice of KNUST Twitter page.
According to reports, the KNUST Campride shuttle collided with an SUV. Fortunately, no one died.

In the early hours of the day, a KNUST Campride (Shuttle) conveying level 400 students from the Civil Engineering department of the Obuasi Campus to a field trip collided with an SUV. ๐

All 50 students who were involved in the accident have since been checked at the KNUST hospital and declared fit.
The students have also been given counseling support.
