A 39-year-old man has been found dead on a farm close to River Asuo Kofi at Kwawu Asona in the Kwawu West Municipality of the Eastern Region.
The deceased, Kwadwo Takyi was found dead on Saturday after going missing for a week.
The chief of Kwawu Asona, Nana Yaw Obeng said the deceased went to the farm but never returned and all attempts to find him proved futile.
His lifeless body was later found, a situation he said has left residents, especially farmers in fear.
Mother of the deceased told Adom News his son was not feeling well but insisted on going to the farm to get cola nuts and didn’t return.
The body has since been deposited at the mortuary awaiting autopsy.
He left behind four children.
