Ghanaian rapper, Yaa Pono, says a musician must be very clever to do profane music.

According to him, he hardly has his hit songs played on radio due to lyrical censorships because he loves to do “profane music”.

He made this revelation in an interview with Andy Dosty on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM Thursday.

The “Obiaa Wo Ne Master” hitmaker advocated the need to, sometimes, do profane music because according to him, “sometimes it is good”.

He continued that “You should be clever to do profane music [in fact] any kind of music. If you want your rap to be dope, you should be clever – as far as music is concerned it’s your composition that matters,” he explained.
