Some old women in Ejisu in the Ashanti region are threatening to stage a naked demonstration if an incompetent person is appointed as the Municipal Chief Executive for Ejisu-Juaben.
According to them, some NPP executives are working hard to lobby for one Serwaa Bekyere for the MCE position.
The old women said the nominee is not fit for the position to execute President Akufo-Addo vision to ensure massive development at the grassroots.
The angry women clad in NPP colours were seen holding placards with inscriptions such as ‘Who is Serwaa Derkye, please go to Effiduase; Mr. President we want the right person from Ejisu; No outsider from Ejisu Constituency as MCE’.
