The Paramount chief of Breman traditional area, Odefour Amoakwa Boadu VIII has donated GH¢ 8000.00 to survivors and parents of school children who died in Breman Jamera school disaster.

The dilapidated kindergarten block of Breman Jamera Methodist school collapsed on the children two weeks ago killing six children.

The six were part of a group of KG pupils who were sitting behind their classroom at break time when the building collapsed on them.

The rest were sent to Our lady of Grace Hospital in Breman Asikuma and later discharged.

 As a way of supporting the affected families, Odefour Amoakwa Boadu VIII handed over GH¢ 1000.00 each to parents of the six children who died in the disaster.

Odefour Amoakwa Boadu VIII said the parents of the deceased GH¢1000 and pledged their continuous support for them.

He also donated GH¢ 500.00 each to the four children who injured as a result of the disaster.

Odefour Amoakwa Boadu VIII prayed such an unfortunate incident will not happen in the town again.
