Police were left shocked to find a stolen motorbike parked inside a bathroom at a residential property.

Officers had been responding to reports of a man in distress at a house on Tower Street, in Dudley, West Mids., last Tuesday (18/4).

But once they gained access to the property they were greeted by the bizarre sight of a motorbike parked in the doorway of the bathroom.

Comical pictures show the vehicle blocking off access to the toilet, shower and basin with little room for the homeowner to manoeuvre.

After running a vehicle registration check, the motorbike was found to have been stolen from an address in Rowley Regis, West Mids., the night before.

The motorbike was seized by officers and has since been returned to its owner.

Dudley Police took to social media on Monday (24/4) to share details of the “unusual” discovery.

They wrote: “We recovered a stolen motorbike from an address in Tower Street Dudley last Tuesday, 18 April.

“We were carrying out a check following reports of a man in distress at the property and while there we spotted a motorbike, which was “parked” in an unusual place – the bathroom!

“A subsequent check identified the vehicle as having been stolen from an address in Cornfield Road, Rowley Regis the previous evening.

“We’ve now seized the motorbike and have contacted the owner.

“Our enquiries into the theft are ongoing and we are asking anyone with information to get in touch with us.”
