Boxing sensation, Braimah Kamoko, popularly known as Bukom Banku today, Wednesday October 3 2019 paid a courtesy call on the leadership of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) at the party’s National Headquarters in Accra.
The visit afforded the boxer the opportunity to present to the NPP leadership, his newly acquired World Boxing Union (WBU) International Cruiserweight title.

Bukom Banku made the headlines in September 2019 when he clinched his first international fight victory after knocking out his German opponent Rojhat Bilgetekin in London.
The National Organiser of the NPP, Mr Sammi Awuku who received the boxer in a brief address said ‘’We share in his success and admonish him to continue with this good example,as he is a role model to the up and coming boxers. The Akufo-Addo led administration will keep encouraging sports men and women as well as the diverse disciplines in the sporting arena. On behalf of the NPP, we say congrats on his latest achievement and look forward to greater days.
