Ghanaian actress, Yvonne Okoro has said that she has no investment in Nana Appiah Mensah’s gold dealership firm, Menzgold.

She has, however, extolled the embattled CEO’s efforts of helping the entertainment ministry.

Yvonne also told Andy Dosty on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM that most of the customers had the hunch that “Menzgold was scam” but “still went there to invest anyway”.

She explained that she had no issues with people who invested in Menzgold because NAM1 presented a “good package” that most customers found difficult to resist, likening his package to the flater of a man who wanted to date a lady.

“I do not have issues with people who invested in Menzgold. Come on, people are hungry and if there is a way… a lot of people felt it was scam but still went there. What he [NAM 1] did may seem wrong but he did a lot for the industry,” Yvonne said.

“Name one person who has done so much [for the entertaiment industry]. Even if he came to scam, which is wrong, you cannot blame people for what is happening now,” she noted.

She revealed that if Menzgold “had approached me and paid me well,” she would’ve agreed to be an ambassador.
