First vice chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Bono region has berated the economic prowess of Member of Parliament (MP) for Bolgatanga Central, Mr Isaac Adongo.
Mr Kwame Baffoe, popularly known as Abronye DC, said the economic analysis offered by the National Democratic Congress (NDC) MP to counter that of the Vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia was only fit for “selling dog meat.”

Mr Adongo, while delivering the true state of the economy at a forum organised by the ‘Coalition for Restoration’ on the theme: ‘The State of Ghanaian economy: Myth sand Truth,’ criticised the government for borrowing carelessly.
“In 2018 we went to borrow $750 million and only $119 million was spent on capital expenditure and 631 million dollars on consumption. Our children will have to pay for this and they have nothing to show for it,” he noted.

Reacting to Mr Adongo, Mr Baffoe on Accra-based Oman FM monitored by Adomonline said the supposed economic guru offered no solution to resuscitate the supposed ailing economy under the NPP.
Rather, he claimed Mr Adongo was just throwing invectives at Dr Bawumia for exposing the NDC’s incompetence while in power.
If given the opportunity for a one-on-one debate, Abronye DC said with his elementary school knowledge, “I can beat Adongo hands down.”

“Adongo’s economic analysis is only fit for selling dog meat at Bolgatanga market. I will beat him in any debate,” the NPP man stressed.
Mr Baffoe said by the conduct of Mr Adongo, it is obvious the NDC lacks the men to manage Ghana’s economy should they win power.
