Following news of a death prophecy about Kwadwo Nkansah (Lilwin) by Prophet Michael Kojo Poku, the actor says he is unperturbed and has gone ahead to name prophets who pray for him.
The list includes Bishop Daniel Kwadwo Obinim, Founder and Leader of International Godsway Church; Prophet Ebenezer Adarkwa Opambour Yiadom, Leader of the Ebenezer Miracle Worship Center; Prophet Nicholas Osei (Kumchacha), Founder and Leader of the Heaven’s Gate Ministries; Reverend Isaac Owusu Bempah, General Overseer of Glorious Word Power Ministry International; Prophet Badu Kobi, Founder and General Overseer of the Glorious Wave Church International and Rev. Dr. Abbeam Ampomah Danso of God’s Solution Centre.
Prophet Michael Kojo Poku of Fire Time Prayer Ministry was reported to have said that death was hovering around Lilwin and “if prayer sessions are not organized for the actor, he may die prematurely.”
The report further quoted the prophet to have said that “Lilwin needs to pass through a powerful deliverance session with me to be freed from the spirits of death hanging around him.”

But the actor who spoke on the Weekend City Show said the prophecy will not come to pass.
“I thank him for the prophecy but I won’t die. I will live long. Mark it on the wall. I will be 70 and above” he noted. “Your family [referring to the prophet] enjoys my movies; they admire me. Pray for me; when I get time, I’d come show appreciation.”
As monitored by abrantepa.com, Lilwin while stating that he respects men of God, posited that it was misplaced for a prophet to go public with prophecies concerning individuals.
“Some pastors call me as regards visions they’ve had about me; we pray and they give me directions. But if you come public and ask that I see you for deliverance, that is ridiculous,” he said.
There have been a couple of prophecies about Ghanaian celebrities following the death of dance hall artiste Ebony who died through a car accident recently.
Reports suggest that some men of God had prophesied that Ebony would die through a car accident. Another prophecy has it that dance hall artiste Shatta Wale will die soon.
While some believe these prophecies must be taken seriously, others have also described them as mere happenstance and an act to make the prophets popular.
