A woman at Agona Nyakrom has reportedly sustained severe eye injuries after she was allegedly attacked by another woman over accusations of having an affair with her husband.
The victim is currently receiving medical treatment amid fears she could permanently lose her sight due to the severity of the injuries.
According to information gathered from Crime Check TV, the confrontation began after the suspect allegedly accused the victim of engaging in a romantic relationship with her husband.
Residents said the disagreement later escalated into a violent physical assault.
Eyewitnesses claimed the suspect allegedly targeted the victim’s face and eyes during the attack, leaving her with serious injuries and severe pain.
Concerned residents reportedly rushed the victim to a nearby health facility for emergency treatment after the assault.
