Nigerian fashion designer Veekee James and her husband have welcomed their first child, a baby girl named Eliana Adeife Atere.

According to the announcement, the name Eliana carries a spiritual meaning, explained as “EL (God) and ANA (He has answered),” signifying “My God has answered.”
The couple also referenced the Bible verse 1 Samuel 1:27, which speaks about answered prayers: “For this child I prayed; and the Lord hath given me my petition which I asked of him.”
