With the UK’s coronavirus lockdown continuing, many are fantasising about all the things they’ll do once restrictions are lifted.

Some might want to visit their loved ones, others could be excited to go to the beach or get back in the gym.

But according to research by sports supplement brand Lyvit, a great deal of Brits are looking forward to going out to dinner.

This is closely followed by having sex – well, for those not quarantining with their significant other anyway.

Around 3,000 people took part in the survey about lockdown, with some admitting they would also be taking on thrilling challenges such as skydiving and mountain climbing once the pandemic was all over.

As part of the study, members of the public were asked to select three activities they would like to complete when the pandemic is over from a list of ‘general’ and ‘extreme’ activities.

If none of the options applied, respondents were given the option to input their own answer.

The research also found that the pandemic has impacted British people’s attitude to life, with more than two thirds (68%) planning to “live life more fully” after this.

The top five general activities Brits want to do post-pandemic are:

  • Go out for dinner
  • Have sex
  • Go on holiday
  • Go to the gym
  • Host a dinner party

The top five ‘extreme’ challenges Brits want to take on post-pandemic are:

  • Skydive
  • Run a marathon
  • Climb a mountain
  • Learn to ski
  • Cycle an iconic route
