File photo: Counting of votes

Gizella Tetteh, sister of Former Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hannah Tetteh, has denied accusations of vote-buying in her favour.

The allegations were made by some National Democratic Congress (NDC) delegates of the Awutu Senya West Constituency in the ongoing primaries.

According to her, her sister was not at Obrachie on Friday but came for a funeral at Bawjiase on Saturday and therefore had nothing to do with her sister’s campaign towards her victory in the contest.

“Allegations of Hannah Tetteh buying votes on my behalf are false, she has not shared any gift for delegates,” she clarified in an interview on Adomonline.com.

Some delegates, who spoke to Adom News after casting their votes, alleged Madam Tetteh was giving out money, clothes and boots to delegates on behalf of her sister, who is contesting to lead the NDC in the constituency going into the 2020 elections.
