The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration has apologised to the public for the inconvenience being caused by the delays in the issuance of passport booklets.

According to the ministry, the delay is as a result of shortages being experienced in some essential materials required for producing the booklets.

In a statement, the Ministry assured that the necessary steps are being taken to address the problem expeditiously.

  1. Take your apology and unspiring excuses. This situation is shameful and unfortunate. If our duty bearers keep on struggling with such pety commitments, i wonder how they can eventually facilitate the kind of transformation we aspire for – as a country.
    Its a really a pity!

  2. This country is not serious one bit. You pay for express work to be done for you within two weeks and it takes more than four months. We go there every date they give us and the only thing we get is another date.
My issue is if they cannot change for e better then they should give us a date that they know we can get it besides we have pay for it.
One more thing, Right now if am to pay like 400-1500Ghana CEDI’s , to someone there trust me that person will tell me to come for it in just 3 days time. What’s all this. These things must stop. Am told to come for it ending of this month and I hope I get . This is a big to SHAME to the people in charge of passport and to the country as a whole. God bless Ghana.

  3. This is very shameful to us as Ghanaians, so the ministry wasn’t checking their their stock level and also no measures were not taking to solve this issue before it got to this time.

  4. Oh really! How in the world could this ever happen. It’s such a pity whilst others are taking the lead in the race, we find ourselves busily running backwards with unparalleled strides
