Former Deputy Ashanti Regional Minister, Samuel Yaw Adusei, has slammed failed aspirant for the Ashanti Regional Chairman position of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Joseph Yamin, for attacking Betty Mould-Iddrisu.

He said Joseph Yamin’s allegations against Mrs Mould-Iddrisu who is aspiring for the position of a Chairperson for the party is baseless.

Yamin is only bitter and does not want to accept the fact that he has lost an election. He should stop peddling those falsehoods because it won’t hold. Accusing Betty Mould of masterminding his defeat is just childish” he said on Okay FM monitored by Adomonline.com.

Mr Yamin has vowed to ensure that Mrs Iddrisu does not succeed in her bid to become National Chairperson of the party for working against his interest in the just ended regional elections.

Yamin said he championed Mrs Iddrisu’s bid to become national vice-chairperson but doubts if she can function well as a chairperson.

In his opinion, it is dangerous to employ a try and error tactic because Mrs Iddrisu has secrets that will disable him to play the role of a chairperson.

But Mr Adusei is asking Joseph Yamin to, as a matter of urgency, rescind his decision of organising a press conference to malign Betty Mould-Iddrisu.

According to him, the disrespect meted out to leading members of the NDC including Mrs Mould-Iddrisu does not augur well for the chances of former President Mahama.

He said the Betty Mould camp won’t allow Joseph Yamin to destroy the reputation of John Mahama.

“Yamin should rescind his decision of organising a presser to destroy Mrs Mould-Iddrisu. We won’t allow you to destroy the party and Mahama,” he stated.
