Popular Kumawood actor Ebenezer Akwasi Antwi has donated GH¢76,026 to support needy patients at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.
The donation is aimed at helping settle the medical bills of vulnerable patients receiving treatment at the hospital and easing the financial burden on their families.

The gesture was undertaken in partnership with Hubert Kyei-Mensah, popularly known as Overmars, founder of the N.B. Sika Foundation, which collaborated with the actor to support the humanitarian initiative.
The actor also presented large quantities of detergents, baby formula and diapers to support patient care, particularly for mothers and children in need.
The cheque and items were presented to the Director of Nursing and Midwifery Service at KATH, Ms. Comfort Asoogo, on behalf of the hospital.
The donation is expected to benefit several patients who are unable to pay their medical bills and further support the hospital’s efforts to provide quality healthcare services.
Dr Likee’s intervention adds to a growing number of charitable initiatives by public figures and organizations aimed at supporting vulnerable members of society and improving access to healthcare for those in need.
