His comment follows a wave of vigilantism by political parties in the country, already groups like Invincible Forces, Delta Forces, Azorka Boys and recently the Hawks have sprung up in the country, ostensibly to fight political causes during the buildup to elections.

Speaking to Adom News on this worrying trend, Pru East MP, Dr Kwabena Donkor said the time has come for the three former Presidents to assist President Akufo-Addo to eliminate activities of such groups.

Dr. Donkor added that despite the NDC’s move to distance itself from the said Hawks group, he will raise the matter at the next NDC NEC meeting.

  1. The best Joke of the Century. Look who is talking. The NDCs new baby, the ‘HAWKS’ were all over H. E. JDM during their recent unity walk thing in Ashanti Region. Does Dr Donkor seem to suggest that JDM did not see them? Also, Credible news portals have reported of creation/establishment of ‘so-called’ vigilante groups in Asamankese and Dr Donkor talks about calling on former Prezs to to do what with these groups. them? This smacks of hypocrisy in the highest order. You go to mud the water from its source and quickly rush downstream to say ‘weytin’?

  2. I strongly support hon. Donkor on the idea of getting rid of those groups. Ghana needs strong brains and not men . our country is far beyond this .
