Unemployed nurses, who were arrested and charged for picketing at the Health Ministry, last Monday pleaded with President Nana Akufo-Addo to intervene in the matter.
The troubled nurses appealed to the president to temper justice with mercy since they are his “children.”
The arrested nurses are expected to appear before court after storming parliament in an attempt to put pressure on the government to employ them.
In an interview with Joy News, one of them revealed that after securing bail, they still report to the police station as they await a court proceeding.
In addition, they asked the government to fulfill its campaign promises and listen to their plea in getting abandoned and new facilities ready to accommodate the unemployed nurses.
