One of the top acts billed for this year’s Adom Praiz scheduled for tomorrow September 6, 2019, Reverend Yaw Agyemang Badu, popularly known as YABS, has given a deep insight into why God gave birthdays and the need to grow.
Speaking on Adom FM’s Dwaso Nsem morning show, monitored by Adomonline.com, YABS said birthdays are to give people time to realise God’s purpose for them on earth.
“I asked myself why God make us grow. What is the purpose of age? Then God gave me an answer. When Jesus came, he spent 33 years but he owned the world. The age is never important to God but rather your purpose on earth,” he said.
According to the man of God with 14 albums to his credit, greatness doesn’t happen in a day but accumulates over time by hard work and the will of God.
“There is nothing in this world that happens in a day. It takes years. So when God gives you more years it means you have work to do. We should glorify God in all we do,” he admonished.
