The Akan brands of Multimedia Group Limited—Adomonline.com, Adom FM/TV and Asempa FM—will today, April 17, host a special thought leadership programme focused on tackling domestic violence and hidden abuse in Ghanaian society.
Dubbed “Safe Homes, Strong Society: Ending Domestic Violence and Hidden Abuse Together,” the event forms part of Adom Brands’ initiative to promote social awareness and national dialogue on protection within families and communities.
It is scheduled for 8:00 p.m. and will be broadcast live across Adom FM 106.3, Adom TV, Asempa FM 94.7, and all associated social media platforms.
The session will bring together a diverse panel of experts and stakeholders, including health professionals, traditional leaders, security officers, religious leaders, and gender advocates, reflecting a multi-sectoral approach to addressing abuse and protection gaps.
Guests include the Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection, Dr. Agnes Naa Momo; medical doctor and child health advocate, Dr. Maame Serwaa Gyamfi Ofosu-Kwabi; Etweresohene/Odaumanhene Odeneho Ofosu-Kwabi Ayebiahwe; Spokesperson for the National Chief Imam, Sheikh Armiyawo Shaibu; and Director of the Domestic Violence and Victims Support Unit (DoVVSU), ACP Owusuwaa Kyeremeh.
The programme is designed to deepen public understanding of domestic violence, encourage victims to seek help, and strengthen collaboration between institutions responsible for protection and justice.
The live broadcast is expected to include audience interaction and phone-ins, allowing listeners to contribute to the national conversation on building safer homes and stronger communities.
