Former Communications Director of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Ibrahim Sannie Daara, is confident that Mohammed Kudus will thrive at his new club, Tottenham Hotspur.
The Ghanaian midfielder recently sealed a high-profile move from West Ham United to the North London side in a deal worth £55 million.
Kudus signed a six-year contract with the Europa League champions ahead of the upcoming season.
During his two-year stint with West Ham, Kudus netted 19 goals in 80 appearances across all competitions. However, Sannie Daara believes the 24-year-old’s best is yet to come.
“We will see the real Mohammed Kudus at Tottenham Hotspur. We saw him at the World Cup and Ajax, but at West Ham, he was only playing in the Premier League and other cup competitions. But at Tottenham, he will play in the Champions League, which is every player’s dream,” he told Asempa FM’s Ultimate Sports Show.
Sannie Daara added that Kudus thrives under pressure and expects him to flourish among Tottenham’s talented squad.
“Kudus thrives when he is being challenged, and with the quality players at Tottenham, he will perform and live up to expectations,” he added.
Kudus is expected to make his competitive debut for Tottenham in a high-stakes UEFA Super Cup clash against Champions League winners Paris Saint-Germain.
