Fire destroys part of 3-bedroom house at Enyan Denkyira

A fire outbreak has destroyed two bedrooms of a three-bedroom house at Enyan Denkyira in the Central Region.

The incident occurred on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, prompting a swift response from firefighters from the Breman Essiam Fire Station of the Ghana National Fire Service.

Upon arrival at the scene, the crew found two of the three bedrooms fully engulfed in flames, with the fire threatening to spread to the remaining section of the house.

Firefighters worked to contain the blaze and prevent further damage, successfully salvaging one bedroom from being consumed.

Despite their efforts, the fire completely destroyed the two affected rooms along with their contents.

No casualties were reported.

The cause of the fire remains unknown and is currently under investigation by authorities.

The swift intervention of the fire service is credited with preventing the entire structure from being razed.
