Nations FC Head Coach Kasim Ocansey Mingle is determined to extend his team’s winning streak as they prepare to face reigning champions FC Samartex in the ongoing 2024/25 Ghana Premier League.
The Abrankese-based club will host Samartex on Sunday in a crucial Matchday 32 encounter at the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex.
Following a dominant 4-1 victory over Legon Cities in their previous match, Coach Mingle praised his team’s performance but acknowledged room for improvement.
“I will say it wasn’t bad, but not to my satisfaction, especially in the first half. We wasted a lot of chances,” he said. “We will go and work on the mistakes they made and do better in the next game,” he added.
Currently sitting atop the league table with 57 points, Nations FC are in strong contention for the title.
After this weekend’s match, they will travel to face Basake Holy Stars at the Crosby Awuah Memorial Stadium before concluding their season at home against Heart of Lions.
