Head coach  of WAFA, Klaus Rasmussen has tipped Asante Kotoko to be in the run for the league title this season after his side held the visitors to a one all drawn game in week one.
The Danish trainer who failed to attribute his side’s inability to grab all three points to the fact that he has lost most of his key players from the last season to the foreign market said he was satisfied with his boys’ dominant play but was full of praise for Asante Kotoko.
“I’m satisfied we got a point but I’m little bit disappointed we didn’t take all the points. Asante Kotoko played very well and I believe they are one of the favourites to win the league, so I will say I’m happy about the whole outcome”, Rasmussen stated.
WAFA will travel down south to play as guests to Liberty Professionals in week two of the league at the Carl Reindolf Stadium.
