The police barracks near 37 Military Hospital, which got burnt almost two years ago has been abandoned and it is now posing a threat to residents of the area.
Sixteen rooms got burnt to ashes at the police barracks, popular known as Block H on Monday, 18 July 2016.
There were no casualties but residents were unable to retrieve anything from the fire.
One lady who was preparing to get married, had her bridal items including the wedding dress consumed by the fire.
After two barely years, the building has still not been demolished and residents of the area say it has serious cracks, and they scared it can collapse any time cause more damage.
They told Adom News Reporter Kwame Kulenu that they are afraid to even pass by the building for fear of it collapsing on them one day.
The residents are therefore appealing to NADMO and necessary authorities to come and pull the building down before it causes any damage.
