Tensions rose to a higher level in the studios of Adom FM on Wednesday when representatives of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the New Patriotic Party (NPP) met to discuss the ongoing brouhaha at the Electoral Commission (EC).
The Member of Parliament (MP) for Effiduase-Asokore, Dr. Nana Yaw Afriyie who represented the NPP could not comprehend why some supporters and communicators of the NDC including Agbesi Nutsu who was on the show would accuse the Akufo-Addo administration of being behind the Akufo-Addo administration of being behind the troubles at the EC.
According to him, the NDC is deliberately accusing the NPP government of inflaming passions at the commission as a means of diverting attention from the good works of the Akufo-Addo administration.
He further dared supporters of the NDC threatening to hit the streets if Charlotte Osei is removed from office to be prepared to do so as the government will act on the dictates of the Constitution.
This view was sharply disputed by Agbesi Nutsu resulting in accusations and counter accusations by the two.
