Director of the Golden Movie Awards, Mimi Adani Michaels has revealed that she and her husband are modelling after Charterhouse couple Iyiola Ayoade and Theresa Ayoade.
According to the former Big Brother Africa housemate, she and her husband, Nana Michael, who is the executive director of the Golden Movie Awards scheme, are working very hard to achieve the success the Ayoade’s have.
Stressing on the importance of maintaining the standards of the Golden Movie Award scheme, Mimi made reference to the ‘Ayoades’ as a couple that braved the storm citing the feat they have attained with their events and productions company, Charterhouse.
“[Iyiola] and Theresa are the mentors of myself and my husband. They don’t even know yet but we are trying to be like them. Everything they have we have it but in a smaller version. We are yet to sit down and let them feel good about that. They’ve created another couple out of what they have done in the industry but they are not even aware,” she said.
