The unknown assailants of Otumfuo’s Asamponhene, Nana Kwadwo Afoduo, after murdering him, left his land cruiser vehicle in a state that implied they wanted to burn his body in the vehicle and leave traces of fire.
Media reports indicated that the body of the 46-year-old chief would have been burnt beyond recognition as videos intercepted by AdomOnline.com revealed aspects of the car seat were partially burnt.

It is believed that the late chief was murdered and his body deposited at the backseat of his Toyota Land Cruiser vehicle and abandoned at the outskirts of Ebuom, a village on the Ejura-Nkoranza highway.
Police in Kumasi are not ruling out contract killing and a search has been mounted to apprehend the perpetrators.
