Some sympathisers of the disqualified aspirant in the Asawase constituency primary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mubarick Masawudu on Thursday afternoon besieged the party’s office in the Ashanti region, to protest the decision.

The incumbent Asawase Member of Parliament, Muntaka Mubarak was on Tuesday, September 3, declared by the party to contest the 2020 parliamentary elections in the constituency unopposed.
