The Public Relations Officer (PRO) for Shatta Wale, Chris Conney has rubbished reports that the Dancehall artiste planned to attack Stonebwoy on stage during the recently held Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
Speaking on Adom FM’s morning show, Dwaso Nsem, Mr Conney told Captain Smart that Shatta Wale was rather going to congratulate Stonebwoy and not to attack him.
According to him, that wasn’t the first time Shatta Wale had been caught in such a web, hence he was surprised many in the public thought he was going to hurt Stonebwoy on national television.

“He was only going there to congratulate Stonebwoy and not to attack him,” he explained.
Shatta Wale followed Stonebwoy moments after the latter was mentioned as the ‘Dancehall Reggae Artiste of the Year’ at the VGMAs with his fans walking at his side as they made way to the podium.

Things didn’t go well as both camps clashed with Stonebwoy pulling a gun. The Ghana Police Service has so far arrested the two acts pending further investigations.
