Former Head of Public Events and Communications of Charterhouse Productions Limited, George Quaye says nominations for this year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards will close on Thursday January 31, 2019.
Speaking on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM, he urged artistes to speed up with their nominations otherwise they would be rejected by midnight.
“By midnight today all nominations will close. Even if you try the online portals it won’t work,” he told Andy Dosty.

George was however quick to add that, nominations received so far have increased compared to those received in the previous years.

“With online nominations alone, we have over 280 entries, if not more than 300. And the hard copies are in excess of 200 entries. Looking at it, it means musicians put in much effort in the 2018/19 calendar,” he said.
