Insecurity as a term is most commonly associated with women, oblivious to the fact that men also feel insecure. Not only are women consciously aware of their looks, so are men. In fact, an interesting study had revealed that short men are highly insecure about their height. The list is endless and does not end there. Height, appearance, weight, social skills, there are many things that make a man feel insecure. And these insecurities can actually make women feel uninterested in men. Hence, we thought of coming up with signs of male insecurity that are a total turn off for women, so that men can work on them.

This is the first thing that a woman notices when she meets a new man. If the man’s eyes are constantly going to look everywhere but at her, she’s going to assume that he is shy or weak. Instead, a man should try and look straight into the woman’s eyes when she is talking to him. If done confidently, the woman will for sure be more interested in him.

When a man is nervous around a woman, he might speak too quickly or might be too quiet, sometimes even stutter. Women can detect this kind of hesitation in the man’s voice. Instead, a man should concentrate on a good tone and speak clearly and confidently.

Slouching while sitting, hunching while standing is the kind of body language that definitely won’t impress a woman. 93% of all communication is nonverbal, so a man better not let down a woman by just his body language if at all he’s trying to impress her. Having a strong body language is going to make a big impact on women. Standing straight with shoulders back and sitting upright will definitely work.

Being a “yes” man isn’t going to win you any points. It will in fact only show male insecurity and weakness. Men might think that women would want them to say yes to everything but it certainly isn’t what attracts women. Instead, try and make plans for what you’re doing to do with her as a man. Sometimes, a man should make decisions without asking the woman. Taking the lead will attract a woman quite a lot.

Sure, it is important to be confident around a woman, if a man wants her to notice him and take interest. But, if a man tries to brag about it or shows it off, he will only come off as deeply insecure. Instead, men should try and rephrase their sentences to make themselves sound confident. Women will notice and they will come around to compliment it too.
