The family of the late inventor and founder of the Kristo Asafo Mission, Apostle Dr. Kwadwo Safo, has expressed concern over its inability to directly reach Sarah Adwoa Safo following reports of a recent shooting incident involving her.

Dr. Philip Siaw Kissi, Secretary to the family, speaking on Adom FM’s Dwaso Nsem, said attempts to contact her directly have been unsuccessful, stressing that any communication must go through her close aides.

“Who are you to call Adwoa Safo for her to pick? Unless you call her assistant to even see if she will talk to you,” he said.

He added that despite the situation, Adwoa Safo remains family and will be engaged internally at the appropriate time.

“She is our daughter. If anything happens to her, it is just like something has happened to our own family. When we get the chance, we will speak to her and find out what really happened,” he stated.

Dr. Kissi noted that the family is currently relying on media reports regarding the incident, as they were not present at the scene.

“We only heard about it like everyone else. We were not around on the day of the incident, so as a family we are going to sit down and discuss it properly because we are not fully aware of what happened,” he explained.

His comments follow reports that former Minister of State, Sarah Adwoa Safo, is receiving medical treatment after gunmen allegedly opened fire on her vehicle near the residence of her brother, Israel Kwadwo Safo, also known as Nana Kwadwo Safo Akofena.
